"A warm welcome to each and everyone! First, I would like to congratulate you guys because you made it this far. Respected elders and dear friends, Mathematics is the basis of everyday life. We need to calculate not only how much energy we spend in day to day living but also how to preserve energy. The modern era is the era of quiz; we have quiz on probably every aspect of life and we learn and earn from the quiz. It makes us more alert, more involved and more aware. It increases the analytical ability of our minds. The more you participate in quiz programmes, the more you become alert and confident. So good luck to all of you guys!"

Buti naman naisipan nya nang tapusin yung speech nya. -,-

Kanina pa ako hindi mapakali. Last night nakausap ko si Nicol and she told me she'll be leaving this afternoon. Nakakaasar! I thought she'll leave next week. Nakaka-gago.

"Hijo. Make us proud. Good luck sa'yo mamaya ha." Si Miss Atienza, my mathematics coach. At oo, nandito kami ngayon sa St. Mary's para sa isang quiz bee.

I just nodded to Miss Atienza.

The contest between the High School Dept. haven't started yet kaya pumunta muna ako sa school garden malapit sa building. There I saw some of participants. May mga nakita ko na dati at may mga bago lang.

Naupo nalang ako sa isang bench. Naalala ko tuloy si Nicol. I checked my phone pero wala man lang kahit isang text mula sakanya. Wala man lang ba syang balak tumawag o magtext man lang para magpaalam na aalis na sya?! Bwisit. Nakakabadtrip 'yung ganito.

She's leaving anytime soon. And I'm here...stuck. Ni hindi man lang ako makapagpaalam ng maayos. Sina Fany kaya kasama nya?? Sina Caleb? Yung barkada? Dmn. Naiisip ko palang naiinis na talaga ako!

"Hindi ka parin pala sumusuko ano??"

Naputol ang pag-iisip ko nang dahil sa babaeng nagsalita at nakatayo sa harapan ko ngayon. Her brows raising high.

"Do I know you?"

"Oh my. Meanie ka parin Kyle Uy!"

I raised my brows. Hindi ko sya maala--- oh naalala ko na.

"Ikaw yung Loser." I said, bored.

"OMG! Hindi ako loser! Nandaya ka lang!!

"Laging sinasabi ng losers na nandaya ang winners." I shrugged.

"Bernadette Banga will never be a loser! Kaya sumuko ka na cause this time ako na ang mananalo!" Then she stuck her tongue out. How immature. Tch.

Naisip ko na naman si Nicol...I'll...miss her immaturity.

"I think may problema ka. Yes! Nagkakaproblema rin pala ang isang tulad mo."

"Shut up. Lubayan mo nga ako."

"Hmm let me guess...babae? Naks! May babaeng pinoproblema si Kyle Uy!!!!" Sigaw nya! What the?! Baliw na sya!

Nagtinginan tuloy yung ibang participants saamin pati na rin yung teachers. -,-

"Omg. May girlfriend na ata si Kyle."

"Aww...nakakalungkot naman 'yun."

"Super crush ko pa naman sya. Huhuhu"

"Nag-aaral pa naman akong mabuti para ako yung ipanglaban para makita ko sya. Waaah..."
