Chapter 6

WARNING! There is a time skip. WARNING!

Blade put his arm around my waist as we walked inside the club. My glare immediately shifted to him. He smiled slightly and leaned down to my ear, since he was taller than me, and whispered, “Deal with it.”

After those words left his mouth I jerked out of his grip. My eyes got colder than my normal glare, and I directed it all onto him. After he bit me, all the memories flooded my head, and I was out for a few days. He still hadn’t explained what the hell the ceremony was for. All he told me was his name, which was Blade, and his race.

“Felicia.” He growled and I scoffed.

“Don’t act so familiar with me.” I hissed. “You don’t explain things to me, you tease me, you rip my clothes from Darius, and now you’re dragging me along with you. Don’t fuck with me.”

I pivoted on my heels and walked right back out the bar. The bouncer gave me a pitying smile and I, being in an already terrible mood, flicked him off.

I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Darius. Right before I hit call, I stopped myself. What am I doing? I keep running away to Darius for things. This isn’t me. I thought. I deleted his number and put my phone away.

“I should have brought my bike.” I mumbled.

“Well, you can share mine.” I heard a familiar voice.

I turned to my right and saw the familiar dark purple hair I knew so well. I saw those friendly brown eyes and the mischievous smile I knew as if they were my own. Even the scent was familiar, axe and cookies.

“L!” I screamed and ran up to him. I hugged him and then pulled back. “Why are you out here?”

“Well, I go for rides and there is this really nice track around here. I just happened to see you.” He said with a smile. “Hop on Ciao.”

Without any hesitation, I got onto the back of his bike. I gripped his waist tight and leaned my head on his back.

“What type of cookies?” I asked.

“Huh?” He replied, confused, as he started off towards our homes.

“You smell like cookies. What type did you eat?” I questioned.

“Plain chocolate chip.” He laughed. “My house or yours?”

“Let’s do mine. Lucky misses you.” I replied.

“Hey, Ciao…can I ask you something?” He sounded really worried.

“Of course.” I said, now worrying myself.

“The guy you were with, are you two…dating, or something like that?”

“Idiot.”

“What? Wait…why?”

“Idiot.”

“Ciao!”

“I don’t like him!”

“Liar.”

“I don’t!”

“Liiiiiiaaaarrrrr.”

“I don’t like him!”

We both got quiet. Darius was making me mad now. He just loved to make me mad, I swear. That damn boy.

~Darius’ P.O.V~

“I don’t like him!”

We both got quiet. I didn’t mean to make her mad. I just didn’t want her to be near that guy. I hated him. I really hated him. He acted so stuck up. The fact he was around Ciao scared me. He could harm her.

The rest of the ride to her house was quiet. She just held onto my waist and rested her head on my back. She didn’t move or talk. It was hard to tell she was breathing sometimes. She even ignored me when I asked her if she was okay.

“We are here.” I said, but she didn’t answer.

“Ciao…come on.” I pleaded. “Talk to me.”

Soon I realized she had fallen asleep. I carefully got off the bike and picked her up. I carried her to the door and then grabbed the spare key before entering her house. Lucky came investigating and when she saw us, she just walked us to the room.

I don’t care what people say about tigers, Ciao raised Lucky since she was little, and Lucky was smart. She loved Ciao and would protect her. Some say tigers can’t do much, but they never met lucky.

I laid Felicia down on the bed and covered her up. Lucky jumped in beside her and watched me carefully.

“Keep her safe.” I whispered and it looked as if Lucky nodded before lying down beside her.

I walked out of the room and went straight for the kitchen. When I walked in, I tackled the guy in there and pinned him to the ground.

“Darius, it’s been awhile.” That brat said, his eyes twinkling with an evil look.

“Blade.” I said crossly.
