The three different flowers I bought perfectly matches them.
Spicy Rose for Tsundere.
Two-Colored Marigold for Coodere.
and Tiny Clover Flowers for Dandere.
These are just some things I'm about to put right after I made graves for them.
Crazy right? Me making graves for the deres, even though Natsu's still alive.
Yet so, I can't help it but to pity them. Now that they disappeared, I wonder where are they right now?
Crying with regrets in the depths of despair? or Living in their fullest wherever they are?
"Hey you guys." I sat down near the three graves, trying to talk to them. "I brought flowers." I smiled painfully as I continued. "I thought.. I could give you guys a remembrance. For the things you've done. Sacrifices and choices where you chose me over your life." ..and for Natsu too. "Thank you.."
"That won't work."
A man with a familiar voice spoke behind. I swiftly turned around to his attention. It took me a second to figure out who was because of the sunlight; "What are you doing here?"
"Ah, you know. Lurking around." Deredere said, charmi-- I mean cheerful as ever. "I was curious when you bought those flowers in the shop, so I followed you here."
"So your a stalker now."
"N-Not really." He shook his hands repetitively as his face took embarrassment. "Sorry. I didn't mean to."
"It's alright.." though maybe it isn't. Deredere might be infuriated to see his fellow deres to be like this.
"But more than that, I want to repeat it again." He said as he sat down beside me. We almost touched hands the moment he landed but I quickly moved mine away. "That won't work." I think he noticed what I did! W-What should I do?! Put my hand on his? "Hey.. are you listening?"
"Wha?" Oh gods, he was demanding! "Y-Yes, I'm putting it right now!!" But before I could, he shifted his hands through my quivering shoulders.
Deredere sighs. "Listen." W-Was he not telling me to-- "Even if you make a remembrance to them-- even graves-- It Won't Work." He hesitated to continue but did it anyway. "When they start to disappear, memories-- past or future, will also vanish." His onyx eyes widen as he explains. "Well, at least, they can be remembered by certain people."
Certain?
"Who are they, exactly?"
"From what I know, it's you, the other living Deres..." again, he hesitated. "...and people who knows us before we existed."
"Wait, what?!" More words begin to confuse me. "Is that even possible?!" I didn't notice I was already shouting. "Knowing someone before they even exist-- just what is that?!"
"Now now." He replied. "I think that's enough for today's spoiler." S-Spoiler? "Besides, it looks like you have forgotten the story I had given to you." Now that he mentions it, I did. But more importantly, the thing he said-- "I must go now. I hope you solve the riddles in your mind.. yourself."
And in that instance, he left.
I was about to follow suit, but something happened.
The graves were fading.
"Whatthe.." Each of the graves I worked hard to built for them; it was perishing.
And so was the flowers.
