Chapter 30

"Haruka where are you? Come out, come out wherever you are." Alois was searching for Haruka in the mansion. They are currently playing hide and seek.

Alois's POV:
"Haruuuukaaaa?" Where is she, I've lived in this mansion longer than her but I can't seem to find her anywhere. I ordered Claude and Hannah to find her. But none of us found her. Then I see the triplets.

"You three, have you seen Haruka?" They all shake their heads.
"Where is she anyway?" I pondered. So I left to find her in a different place.

Your's POV;
"Hehehe, guess he didn't notice me." I said from under the table. Actually I had the triplets helped me hide. I kept on switching my hiding places.

Earlier....
I was walking around the mansion looking for a place to hide, I can't seem to find the perfect place to hide.
"40, 39, 38, 37...." I can hear Alois counting down, my time is almost up. Then I accidentally bumped into the triplets. They had a quizzical look on their face.

"Hey do you guys know a good place to hide?" I asked them hoping they would give me an answer. Then they looked at each other.
"And what's in it for us?" They said together.
"Ugh never mind."
"Well. I think. We could help you."
"Really?!"
"On. One. Condition."
"What is it?"
"You have. To give us. A kiss."
"Wha?! You have to be kidding me."
"12, 11, 10...."
"Okay but on the cheeks."  Then I kissed them each on the cheek. Then suddenly one of them carried me somewhere and hid me inside a closet.
And that is how I got helped from the triplets, and I can see that they are enjoying Alois, Claude and Hannah's confused look.

Now...
"Thompson, Canterbury, Timber. Why are you standing in front of that door?" Suddenly I heard Claude's voice from behind the door, I was hid inside a small room, and it looks like Claude suspected something.

"Nothing." They said together. Suddenly the door swung open and Claude appeared in front of me.
"I've found you." Claude said with a smile. Then I sprint away from him, running away from him.
"You have to catch me first." I stuck out my tongue.
But Claude quickly catch up on me. Oh yeah that's right he is also a demon. I found the grand stairs and I slid down from the railing. But suddenly a hand stopped me, and when I turned around, Hannah is there.

"Please do not slide from the railing you might injure yourself." Hannah said with a soft smile.
"S-sorry Hannah."
"Ah Haruka there you are!" Then Alois appeared.
"I've been looking everywhere for you. Ah you sure are a good hider."
"Actually I had the triplets helped me." The triplets are up stairs and they bowed to Alois. Suddenly my stomach started grumbling, and so does Alois.
"I will prepare dinner master." Hannah then goes to prepare dinner and so does the triplets, and Alois went to the dining room. Claude suddenly appears beside me.
"You demons sure are creepy sometimes."

"Ohh you knew that I'm a demon?" Claude said with amusement.
"Yes that's right. Ciel and Sebastian are also demons."
"I'm surprise you didn't left them after knowing that. Are you not afraid?"
"No, I am not. The same goes for you." I begin to start walking but Claude twists my arm suddenly.
"You should be Haruka." He whispered in my ear and then release me. And he went to the same direction as Hannah and the triplets.

Then I went into the dining room where Alois is waiting for me. A worried expression on his face.
"What's wrong Alois?"
"I ease dropped your conversation."
"Oh, and?"
"You won't hate me right?"
"Why would I hate you. You're my friend."
"But you knew what Claude is and so does the others."
"Like I said I'm not afraid of all of you. There is no reason for me to hate you."
"Really?" I give him a smile to ensure him. Then he suddenly hugged me. And I hugged him back.

"Then as a reminder, here for you." I handed him an embroidery. With a light purple butterfly on it. Alois seemed happy about it.
"Thanks." And so dinner went smoothly. Alois and I chatted all the time and now it is time for Alois to sleep, so Hannah escorts him to his room. And the triplets went to return to their chores. Only Claude still remains with me. Ugh why is he still here?

"Alright then guess I'll go to my room now." As I lay my hand on the door knob, Claude stops me.
"H-hey what are you doing?!"
"I wonder what makes you so interesting that Michaelis falls for you? You're just a normal human nothing more."
"Like how would I know. Let me go!" Then he released me. Then I glared at him. And he smirks and whispered to my ear.
"I wonder does he really love you?" My eyes widen.
"Good night Haruka Yukimura." And left.

I already made it to my room and layer on the bed. What was that all about? That Claude his such a jerk! But what he said still rings in my head.
Does he really love you?
No don't think about it, Claude is an idiot. But does Sebastian really love me? What if-. Agh stop thinking about it.
But if Sebastian really doesn't love me? Do I really love him? Then I know why I'm so worried about his feelings,
I really am in love with him, maybe I've fallen for him ever since that day he found me.

And then I slowly drift to sleep, a happy feeling washed over me.

In Haruka's dream
I open my eyes and I see darkness everywhere. I looked around and there is nothing, only myself. Then suddenly the scene changes.
It was my father and a...man, the man is in his thirties and has long blonde hair and looked like an Englishman. I can't see his face very clear but I can see that they are quarreling, my father has a furious look on his face. And my father points his sword at the man and the man smirked, then I realize that my mother is right beside me, and the looked at her. Then I heard him say,
"My Sakura maiden."

Then the scene changes to me, my younger me being treated by my mother. That's right, I had a weak body when I was young, I always caught a fever and got sick, and my mother always treated me. I see my mother's kind smile.

Then a wind of Sakura flowers blinds my sight and I am back in the darkness, but I wasn't alone, I see my mother. Her back is facing me.
"Mother!" I run at her and reached out my hand but suddenly she falls to the ground. Her blood is everywhere. Not again, not again.

I started crying and crying and I screamed.

My eyes shot open and I jumped up from my bed after the horrible nightmare I had. Then I calm myself down and went over to the mirror and I see tears rolling down from my eyes, I quickly wiped them from my face. Then I realize it's already morning, I opened the curtains to let some light flow into the room.

With another lead to finding my parent's murder and also with Ciel and Sebastian's help I know I could do this. So I put on my clothes and head out to get ready to go back to the Phantomhive mansion.
And to my surprise Alois has already woken up and is waiting downstairs.

"Are you really leaving now?"
"Yeahhhh, if I'm not at the mansion by the time Ciel gets home, you would probably be the first suspect."

"Okay then, I'll see you later then, and I'll keep the embroidery you gave me."
"Okay then, bye Alois."
So I headed out and took the horse, and when the horse started to run, I saw Claude from the roof looking at me. But I just brush him off and the horse started running back toward the mansion.

"Hmph, what an interesting girl. A dark and painful past, surrounded by darkness but is still pure, but there is something different about her, it's like she is not human."
