Chapter 34

'Where am I?' I can feel the grass and the sound of birds chirping.
'It looks like I'm outside.' Damn it! My body feels so heavy.
Then I feel somebody shake my body.

"Hey, miss are you alright? Mother, Father come here, someone collapsed!" The boy's sound almost sounded familiar, so I slowly opened my eyes and I can see....Ciel?!
But he looks younger, he's not wearing his eyepatch.
Then I can see two people coming closer, one male and one female, I can't see their faces well as I began to loose consciousness.

Time skip.......

"Hmmmmm." I slowly tried to get up, and I feel the soft bed I was lying on.
Then I check my surroundings and of course, it does look like one of the rooms in the Phantomhive manor.
Then the door slowly opens and Tanaka appears holding a simple black dress. "Good morning miss, I see you are awake." I stare at Tanaka, who used to be small and do nothing than sipping his tea.

"My name is Tanaka, I am the head butler of the Phantomhive manor, my master would like to meet with you after you wake up."
"O-oh okay then, thank you Tanaka." I said as I bow my head.
"Miss if I may ask, what is your name?"
"It's Haruka, Haruka Yukimura."
"Very well then miss Yukimura, please be ready when I come back to take you to my master." Tanaka said, he placed the dress on the chair and he bows his head and left.

"Whoa he's very....different from the Tanaka I knew. I wonder what else is different here? I guess I'll find out later." So I get from the bed and went to the chair and grabbed the dress. After I finished wearing the dress, there is a knock at the door, but the sound is weaker, like someone small is knocking, so I open the door and standing there is no other than Ciel. He's even more shorter than me, and he gazes at me, and I find it....cute! The younger Ciel is so small and cute.

"Um hello." He said shyly.
"Uhh h-hello to you too." Oh man this is awkward, I can't believe this kid is the cool and grumpy Ciel I know.
"Umm miss, What is y-your n-name?"
"Oh it's Haruka, Haruka Yukimura, but you can call me Haruka. And how about you?"
"I'm Ciel! It's nice to meet you Haruka!" His face brightens up and he smiles, I'm taken aback of the sudden difference between the past Ciel and the future Ciel. And I blushed.
"Y-you too Ciel." Then we shake hands, he smiles innocently and I smiled back at him, wishing that the future Ciel would always smile like this. Then Tanaka appears and then he takes me to his master, which of course is Ciel's father.
Along the way, Ciel is looking at me, and I feel I can't look at him, because if I do, I wouldn't be able to stop the urge to hug him.
And soon we arrived to Ciel's father's studies "Master, miss Haruka is here."
"Ahh yes come in Tanaka." A man's voice was heard from the other side and Tanaka opens the door, and I stepped inside along with Ciel. The chair was facing away from me, and I cannot see Ciel's father's face.

Then the man slowly got up from his chair and he looked at me. And of course I'm taken aback, Ciel's father looks exactly like Ciel only older. Then Ciel went to his father's side and he stroke Ciel's head.
"Good afternoon miss Haruka, I am Vincent Phantomhive, the current Earl of the Phantomhive mansion."
"I-it's nice to meet you sir!" I said flustered.
"Ah-ha no need to be flustered, miss Haruka. I hope you're well now after taking a rest."

"T-thank you sir, I really appreciate your hospitality." I bow my head.
"And I see you have met my son Ciel." He then pats Ciel's head. Then the door opens and a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes comes in, she must be Ciel's mother.

"Darling, Tanaka informed me that the guest has woke up." Her gestures are elegant.
"Ah yes Angelina, this is miss Haruka. Haruka this is my wife Rachel."
"It's nice meet you ma'am." I said and I bow my head.
"It is nice to meet you, my dear. Let us talk with some tea I'll have Tanaka prepare them."

Then we are seating in the guest room while having tea.
"So then miss Haruka-"
"U-um please just call me Haruka, sir."
"Very well then Haruka. Where do you come from?"
"I came from Japan."

"Oh you're from Japan. What brings you to London?" Mr. Vincent asked, and of course I cannot tell him I'm from the future and I came to London to find my parents murderer.
"Actually I came here to start a new life here. I was a servant to a man, and he was very cruel to me and the other servants, but then he was murdered and we were all free. So I decided to start living here in London. And I must've collapsed in your forest." Of course some of the story is true.

"I see you poor dear." Mrs. Rachel looks at me worried.
"Well we could find you a place to live." Mr. Vincent offers me.
"Huh?! Haruka's leaving?" Ciel said as he looked disappointed.
"Now now Ciel, Haruka needs to find a new place to live-" "No." I said cutting off Mrs. Angelina. Then the three of them looked at me quizzical.

"U-um I was wondering if I could work here." I said as I scratch the back of my head.
"Oh you want to work here?"
"I want to repay you, for saving me and for letting me stay here. Please I don't know how else I could repay you!" I said as I bow my head.
Then they gaze at me for awhile and I feel unsteady. Then Mr. Vincent is the first to speak.

"Very well then if it is what you wanted Haruka, you can stay here and work as a maid. And I think Tanaka could use some help." Then I raise my head and see that Mr. Vincent and Mrs. Rachel smiling.

"Oh I think you can be Ciel's personal maid." Mrs. Rachel said clapping her hands together.
"Really?!" Ciel asked jumping from his seat.
"Yes, what do you think Haruka?" Then Ciel turns around and is looking at me hopefully.
"Yes of course." Then Ciel started jumping in joy, and the sight makes me smile, seeing that Ciel is happy and smiling.

"Haruka, Let's get along and play together, okay?" Ciel said as he stand in front of me. Then I get down on my feet, put my hand over my heart and say...
"Yes, my lord."

Time skip....

After we talked I agreed to become Ciel's personal maid. And just like with Ciel in the future, I asked to not wear the maid outfit like Mey-rin's. And thank goodness I wore my maid outfit when I came to this time, so I wore the clothes, and started my first day at the Phantomhive manor in the past. And my first job is to prepare dinner. And so I started cooking.

After a moment I've finished cooking and went to the dining room, where Ciel and his parents are waiting.
When I entered the room, all eyes are on me.
"U-um is my uniform not to your expectations, master?"
"No actually you look beautiful Haruka." Mrs. Rachel said as she smiles.
"T-thank you m'lady." So I begin to serve their dinner.

"For today's dinner we have sauté pheasant and some root vegetable soup." And so they began to eat. And soon they are finish.
"Wow it was delicious Haruka, you are a fine cook indeed!" Ciel praised me.
"Thank you for your praise young master Ciel, if I cannot cook something to your liking then what kind of maid I would be." I said to him. But then he looked at me.
"Haruka please don't call me young master." He said pouting.
"What ever do you mean, what else should I call you then?"
"Please call me Ciel."

"Very well then, if it is what you wish for, then I will call you by your name, Ciel." I said as I smile at him. Then he suddenly hug me and I fall on my bottom.
"C-Ciel?! W-wh-what are you-?!" I said flustered and Mr. Vincent and Mrs. Rachel just giggled at the scene before them.

And so It was time for Ciel to sleep, so I brought him to his room and tucked him into bed, but before I left,
"Haruka."
"Yes Ciel?"
"Please sing me a song." He asked so sweetly I couldn't resist.
"Very well then."
So I started to sing 'Right here in my arms'.

And soon Ciel fell asleep, and I quitely left his room, and when I got out, Mr. Vincent and Mrs. Rachel are waiting outside. And I bow my head to excuse myself, but before I started walking.
"Haruka." Mr. Vincent called out to me.
"Yes?"
"Ciel seems to be attached to you."
"Thank you, he's very lucky to have parents who loves and cares for him." I said to them while remembering my parents, and soon Ciel will also loose his parents.
"Well then please excuse, my master and my lady." I said and bow to them and left them.
