Chapter 9

Chapter 9 - Marie

I avoided everyone the next day in school. I didn't feel like talking to anybody. My leg was fully healed so I could fully walk now. It hurts a bit but it's worth it. I was tired of the stupid wheelchair anyway. All the events of last night flooded my mind. I couldn't believe Alex had sex with Lisa, his ex-girlfriend. And I thought Lisa was nice. She doesn't seem like the type of person to do something like that. With her blonde hair and blue eyes, you would assume she's such a sweetheart. I guess I was wrong. I ran a hand through my hair as I walked myself to the cafeteria. I was hungry so I decided to grab something to eat. I approached the counter I asked the lunch lady, "Can I have a chocolate muffin and some black coffee please?" The lady whose name was Amelia smiled at me and nodded. She wrote down my order and gave it to the person behind her. I walked out of line to the side, waiting for my food. A few minutes later, Amelia came and gave me my chocolate muffin and black coffee. I smiled at her and paid and walked out of the cafeteria. Just as I was about to take a sip of my warm coffee, someone took the drink out of my hands and took a sip.

"Hey!" 

Hunter laughed as he handed me back my drink. 

"You could have politely asked for some," I said. Hunter laughed once again and shook his head.

"I'd rather not," he said. I smiled faintly at him as I continued to walk through campus. There were a few kids around. It was Friday night so most kids were either out partying or in their dorms. I'm not much of a partier. My past expiernce's know better. 

"What are you thinking about?" asked Hunter as I bit into my chocolate muffin. I shurgged my shoulders.

"Nothing," I said. 

"Are you doing anything tonight?" he asked. I shook my head.

"No, why?"

Hunter pursed his lips as I stared straight ahead with his hands stuffed in his pockets. 

"I was wondering if you could come with my to my apartment tonight, if that's okay with you."

I instantly felt butterflies in my stomach. 

"Yeah," I said. "I don't have anything to do anyway." 

Hunter smiled at me. "And I was hoping we could continue what we didn't finish in your dorm room the other day. What do you say?" 

I bit my lip as I stared at the ground. "I would like that."

Hunter smiled and placed his arm my waist. "I knew you would."

We stumbled in laughing into Hunter's apartment. I have no idea what we were laughing about but the car ride over here was hilarious. Hunter closed the door behind him and pressed me against the door. I locked my arms around his neck while he put his hands on my waist. Hunter smiled and leaned in until our foreheads touch.

"You're so beautiful," Hunter said. I smiled. 

"Thanks," I responded. 

"No problem." 

We didn't say anything next. We both leaned in until our lips touched. I played with his hair by the nape of his neck while he played with my jeans. He successfully slid them off and it landed on the floor with a soft thud. It left me revealed in my white lace underwear. We broke apart a bit to catch up on our breathing. Hunter reconnected our lips. He slid a hands under my thighs and lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist. He carefully took us upstairs, trying not to drop me. He pushed the door open to his bedroom. He kicked the door closed with his foot and threw both of us on the bed. He pulled away and took off his tie and dress shirt. He took off his belt and threw off this pants. He leaned in and kissed me. I felt his hands on the side of my body, lifting up my shirt. I was now in my bra and underwear. We both pulled away to catch out breath. Hunter looked down at me and smiled.
