Monday
Caley looked to me and smiled excitedly. "Will you quiet smiling like that, you look like a crazy person." I laughed.
She giggled. "Sorry sorry!" She said. We were sitting by our lockers.
"You look different today?" Caley said taking a closer look at my face.
"Makeup! You're wearing makeup!" She shouted. I put my hand on her mouth as people started to stair.
"Shut up!" I told her. I can tell she was smiling. I let go and norrowed my eyes on her. "Yes. I'm wearing makeup. Doesn't mean you have to announce it to the whole world." I said.
She giggled again. "Sorry. But why are you wearing makeup? You never do." She asked.
I shrugged. "Felt like it." I told her. She bit her lower lip. "Okay. If that's your excuse." She winked.
She bit her lip again and hesitated. She puts her thumb near my eye and pushed up. "Eye liner was running a bit." She said fixing it.
I smiled. "Thanks." I whispered.
The bell rang. We walked together to class. Caley took a seat beside me this time.
Everyone was just getting to class. I took out all my books out of my bag and realized I forgot my English note pad in my locker.
"I'll be right back." I told Caley. She nodded.
I walked fast to my locker. For some reason my locker didn't want to open and I was getting frustrated.
"Here." A voice said. He hit my locker on the top and it opened.
I smiled a bit. "Thanks." I said taking out my book and turning to face my hero of the day.
My eyes widen. The new boy.
Suddenly my voice just didn't work. I cleared it. He smiled down at me. "You're welcome." He said.
I smiled again this time my face turned hot.
"I'm Drew by the way." He adds. I moved my hair out of my face. "Maya." I told him.
"Um, do you know where room 218 might be?" He asked me a bit embarrassed.
I nodded. "English. It's where I'm heading."I told him. He smiled and followed.
The second bell had just rang as we arrived. Caley looked over wide eyed.
He thanked me and took a seat in front of Caley.
"Oh. My. God!" She mouthed to me. I giggled trying to cover up my blushing face.
