{Ryan’s POV}

No…no…no my baby sister cannot be mates with Dakota.  I also cannot believe she wants us to join packs or work together. Can I work together with him as Ava does the girls? Can I be more confused?

“Ryan?” I hear Ava and Emilee say at the same time.

“You’re…” I swallow, “You’re really his mate?” I ask.

Ava gives me a sad smile, “Yeah. He is my mate.”

“Why do you look upset that I am your mate? You did not care a month ago when you found out.” Dakota says.

Ava’s eyes widen, “DAKOTA!”

Looking between Ava and Dakota, “A month! You have known about this for a month.”

“Actually…” Emilee starts.

“Actually... what Emilee?” I ask.

“All of us knew except you, Dallas and Ethan.” She says.

Now I feel hurt. My own mate knew about this. Can I trust anyone anymore?

Emilee kneels in front of me, “Look babe; how would you of felt if you found out before now? They have spent the whole month getting to know each other and they have been under the supervision of all of us. Look you know we would not have kept this from you if it were not important to your sister. Right now your sister’s life is in danger and all you can care about is that you did not know your sister found her mate.”  

Emilee is right my sister would make sure her mate is right for her. However, why did her mate have to be Dakota? With her in possible danger also has me concerned. Even what makes me even madder is that it is someone in my pack. There are only three boys that start with the letter ‘A’.

“Fine we will work together if it get worse we will combine packs.” I say.

Looking at Dakota, “You are not allowed to be alone with my sister. Also for her sake, we have to talk and clear the air. I want our packs to work together. We only have three boys with the letter ‘A’ for their names so we will have to keep an eye on them. In addition, you should be with all us guys at the girl’s dance practices. I also want you not to treat my sister as if she is not your mate because know you would hate to see her with another guy so the same would go with her seeing you with another girl. Got it?”

A small knock at the door interrupts the group hug that Ava started after what I said to Dakota. The elder of Dakota’s pack opened the door and talks to the woman who was at the front desk. Nodding he looks at Ava confused. Walking over to her, he hands her a folded piece of paper.

Ava opens the paper and pales instantly. Dropping the paper, she backs up to the wall, slides down the wall, and starts crying.

I pick up the paper and it reads, ‘You may have them working together but it won’t be for long. I WILL have you Ava even if it means killing everyone close to you. I would leave Dakota for last that way you can see him die slowly and so he can see me mark his mate. Last warning Ava LEAVE DAKOTA AND EVERYONE YOU LOVE WILL LIVE!! ~~A’
