I wake up to see that it's still rainin. Great! Spending the entire day indoors, terrific! I roll my eyes at my own sarcasticness. I like rain, but when it's raining it means indoors with these people, so now I don't like it as much. I snuggle down into the covers more, to keep the cold out and close my eyes. Not like there's any point in waking up if it raining and I can't go outside.
~~~~~
"Avey wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" Someone told me. Well I don't think so. "You have left me no choice Avey."
I turn my back to the person and grunt in response. There was some shuffling around the room, then a dip in my bed. A song was being blared into my ears. I give a small jump at how loud it is, and how close it is to my head. I pull the blanket tighter around my head hoping that they'll go away soon.
The song gets louder. Not being able to take it anymore I rip the blanket off my head and glare at the person responsible for the blaring music. Lily just sits there smiling.
"It was time to wake up. Now come on, breakfast is ready." At the sound of food I perked right up.
I got up and reluctantly, well not really I'm getting feed, and got ready. As I was getting ready I was humming the song under my breath. All of the music we have is from before the war. People do work in that field, but there's not really a huge demand, so they just play before war music. Not that I mind. Its the same for pretty much everything else, except medicine technology. Oh, and the fact that Nats walk the streets and aren't hiding anymore. Before I leave the room I make sure to shove my dagger in the waist of my pants.
Me and Lily walk down the stairs, with Arie a few steps ahead. The three of us walk into the kitchen grab some food, then walk into the dining room to eat.
"Good morning Avey, how are you feeling?" Mary asked, who was beside Crystal.
"I'm feeling fine thank you, why do you ask?" I was curious I don't really get sick, but when I do its bad.
"Its just when you didn't come down early, I was worried. You always come down early, and when you didn't I got concerned." I looked at her like she had three heads. Normally when I'm sick everyone in the house locks me in my room and won't let me out unless I have to use the bathroom.
"Oh, no I did wake up early, but when I saw that it was raining I didn't see a point in getting up. I was also cold, and the covers were warm."
"Do you think you're coming down with a flu?" Cross asked with worry in his eyes. Okay what the hell is going on, are there cameras somewhere, or something? Since when do people, especially when those people are Nats, care about me?
"No, at least I don't think so." I look down to grab my water glass, only to realize that I didn't bring one. Oh, now I have to get off my butt and go get one.
I get off my seat and walk towards the kitchen, dragging my feer the entire way. Once in the kitchen I see Alex is there, so I say morning, he responds with a head nod. I turn my back to open the cup cubor when I felt pain in my waist, and let out a high pitch shriek. As soon as it came, it left. I hear laughter behind me, this can't be good. I turn around to see Alex laughing his ass off, face red and everything. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, he tasered me! That little shit! By now everyone is in the kitchen asking what's wrong, but I'm to mad to concentrate on them.
"Alex you're so freaking dead!" I scream.
He stops laughing and stands straight. "And what are you going to do glare me to death, oh the horror!"
