Cross was still looking at me, with that suspicious look. If I stand there and do nothing, then his suspicions will be confirmed.

"Look I'd love to stay and chat, but after doing running in gym, having rocks thrown at me, then working, I'm dog tired. I'll talk to ya'll later. No pun intended" Cross looked pissed, no not pissed, murderous like he wanted to rip someones head off. What did I do now?

"Why were rocks being thrown at you?" His voice was low, dangerously low, he was looking right at me.

"Well, oh ya know, I was just walking on the back of a bench, testing my balance when all of a sudden something was flying my way. So I dodged it, then when the assault was over, who ever had thrown the rocks, were gone." I know lying to Cross is probably a bad thing, but if I tell him it was Dowson and Alex then they'll get in so much shit, and I actually think we all could be friends.

Crystal was trying to calm down Cross, it was helping for the most part.
"I'm fine though, the rocks didn't hit me, but if anyone should be hurting, it would be Alex, and Dowson. Their egos took a fair beating today." When I told Cross I was fine, he seemed to calm down more. I don't know why Cross was acting this way, it's not like he gives a shit about me. Does he?

"Why, what did you do this time?" Cross asks me with humor in his eyes.

"Well, Alex almost got beat by a girl in gym class, as in it was almost a tie, as in earlier around the track I was ahead of him. Now Dowson dear did get beat by a girl at football practice, because he called me princess, and said that I couldn't catch him." I explained to Cross, once I was done, the room was filled with laughter. If other people want to listen in on my conversation, then that's not my fault!

"Now if you'll excuse me, I am tired and would like to sleep. So night." With that I turned around, and left the room.

I walk out of the room, down the hall, up some stairs, and into my room. When I entered my room, I expected everyone to be asleep. Arie was, but Lily was wide awake.

"Hey Lil." I whispered.

She looked up from what she was doing, she gave me a small smile, got off the bed and walked over to where I was standing. Which was right by the door frame.

"We need to talk, like right now. But not here." She whispered.

I nod my head and followed her out of the room, casting a longing glance at my bed before I left the room. Lily leads me down the stairs and out the back door, she walked right for the woods.

What was so important that we needed to be talked about in the woods? Well I don't care, if something jumps out at us I have my dagger.
We walk towards the small path that leads deep into the woods. We walk in silence, until the lights from the house were no longer there. All you could see was forest, all you could hear was animals in the night. We walk for at least twenty minutes before either of us talked, or made any noise.

Lily gave a shaky breath. "I think I saw my mom. Like my birth mom. It was at the diner the other day, and a women came in, she looked at me and gave me a strange look. After awhile she came over and ask if she'd seen me before, because I looked familiar. Thing was, I look exactly like her, but younger, only difference was the hair, her's was darker and mine was lighter. I said no, but, what if she was my mom? What if I had a family that misses me?"

We had stopped walking and were looking at each other. "All of us are going to find our families, find out what, or who we are. We are going to know. Alex, and Dowson are going to help us too. But we are going to know the truth." After I had finished, Lily had tears running down her face.
