When Artemis got into the institution the first person she saw was, Isabelle smiling. "Did he ask you out?!" "No, Isabelle. He just asked if we could talk about what happened last night. And I told him about us." Isabelle was shocked. She didn't think Artemis would actually tell Scott the truth. "Well, it seems he's taking it well!" Artemis nodded and smiled. "Yeah.. So um, when are we going?" She asked. "Well, mom said that we could go look in the woods now and she'd meet us by the preserve when she gets off work." Artemis nodded. "Okay well I'm going to go get ready." Isabelle nodded and went to her room.

A knock startled Artemis as she was searching for clothes. "Come in!" Clary came in. "Hey, Artemis! I was wondering if I could barrow some of your hunting clothes? Isabelle's are a little too revealing." Artemis laughed and said, "Yeah, of course! I know how you feel." Clary smiled and thanked Artemis. Clary picked out a red tank top, black jeans, and a leather jacket while Artemis picked out a purple top, black leather jacket, and tight leather pants. "Well I'm ready to go! You?" Artemis nodded and the two girls went down stairs and waited for the others.

"Finally! We were waiting for ten minutes!" Says Artemis. The others grumble in response. "Come on let's go!" The Shadowhunter's drive to the preserve and look around. "I think we should split up." Alec tells the others. "Yeah, Artemis go with Alec and Isabelle, Clary will be with me." Jace says. 'But of course Jace would want to go with Clary.' Thought Alec, Artemis, and Isabelle. They split up in search for some demons.

"So.. Artemis. Who's that guy you've been talking too?" Alec was always getting on Artemis' nerves but he truly just wanted to keep her safe. "His name is Scott McCall." Artemis replies with a shy smile. "Are you two dating?" Artemis looked at him wide eyed. "No! No, we-we're just friends! No more than that!" But Artemis wanted it to be more than that! She wished that Scott would just ask her out already, she knows he likes her! 'Maybe it's because of Allison..' She thought. And maybe it was because of Allison. Maybe Scott was afraid of loving someone that way again. Maybe he was afraid of losing someone he loves again. "Artemis watch out!" Screamed Isabelle. But before either of the siblings could get their weapons out and ready, Artemis was down on the ground and a shifted Liam Dunbar on top of her.

A voice yelled for the new werewolf, "Liam! Liam stop!" Artemis recognized that voice anywhere. It was Scott. "Liam please get off! Ahh!" Artemis cried out when Liam's claws scratched her arms, and drew blood. Soon she felt the weight of Liam of her body and saw that Scott had got him off her. "Artemis! Are you okay?!" Isabelle and Alec run to Artemis and check her arms. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine I just need my stele." Artemis reached for her stele and started drawing a healing tune on her arm. Scott was watching it all. He could smell Artemis' skin burn from the stele, and couldn't help but wonder how she wasn't screaming out in pain. "Artemis? Are you okay?" Scott asked. Artemis nodded and gave a slight smile. "Yeah I'm all better. See?" She showed Scott her arms and there was nothing there except an identical rune on each arm. Scott nodded. "I'm so sorry about, Liam he's still learning." Scot and the Shadowhunter's looked down at Liam. "It's fine. Just keep him under control next time." Alec tells Scott. The true alpha nods and takes Liam back to the boathouse. "Bye, Scott." Artemis whispers. Even though Scott was some feet away he took a glance back at Artemis and waved.

"Mom just texted me. Come one lets go." The three Shadowhunters finally find their way back to the car. "Where have you guys been?!" Yelled Jace. "We ran into some trouble, and then we got lost." Artemis was telling the truth. "What trouble?" Asked Maryse. Maryse could tell when Artemus was hiding something. She would scratch the back of her head when she wasn't telling something they should know. "Oh.. Um.. It was nothing." "She was mauled by a new werewolf." Alec stated. "I wasn't mauled! It was an accident! It was his first full moon! Besides, I'm fine now!" Alec rolled his eyes. Maryse looked at the three with worry. "Okay.. But be careful next time. Anyways lets go."

Sadly that night the Shadowhunters didn't find anymore werewolves or any demons. But Scott McCall and his pack found something every supernatural-even the Shadowhunters-in Beacon Hills should know. They found a dead pool. Kira stood beside Lydia who was concentrated on her computer typing something, a name actually. But not just any name. Lydia was typing in Allison. But she wasn't typing Allison's name in for anything! It was a keyword for a code. Lydia hit enter and a list of names and numbers came to the screen. "What is this?" Kira asks. "It's a list. A list of supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills. It's a dead pool." Lydia said. "And we're all on it."

But why would Shadowhunters be on a hit list for supernatural? Maybe the list could count for the Nephilim. Maybe the three Shadowhunters are something, not just demon hunters, but something supernatural.

This chapter was really short. I'm sorry. But I hope you liked it! And I do have a reason to why Artemis is on the dead pool... But you'll have to keep reading to find out!
