Deaton had told the Shadowhunters that it might take a couple days before Artemis could shift back to her human form. He suggested, she should go back to the institute and wait there. But there was a slight problem, "How are we going to get her to the institute without her being noticed?" Jace asked. "Well if, Artemis uses her heighten senses, she could smell the way to the, institute." Derek replied. Artemis looked up at his comment and started sniffing.

Artemis thought, Maybe if I smell Isabelle, I could track her perfume to the institute! She sniffed The girls stomach and Isabelle yelped in surprise. "Um..Artemis..? What are you doing?" "She's tracking your sent, to lead her back to the institute." Said Derek. Artemis took her nose away from Isabelle's stomach, sniffed the air, and ran off. Maryse spoke up, "Well kids we should get going and meet up with, Artemis. She's probably already there." She nodded toward the two men in a thanks and followed the younger Shadowhunters into the woods.

It was Monday now and Artemis was still in her wolf form. She skipped school because of it. To be honest, Artemis was liking her wolf form, but she also liked her human form because she could talk. It was hard the last two days. Trying to tell your family you need to be let out to use the bathroom. Having them feed you a huge breakfast, lunch, and dinner!Being a werewolf was harder than she thought. After being cooped up for the day, the Shadowhunters finally let Artemis out. She ran around like a real dog! It was a funny sight to see! Artemis soon heard an engine and she smelled a sent. It smelled of maybe axe cologne, and wet dog. She hid behind-well.. Nothing since she was so big. So she laid down on the side of the house-still being able to see-and waited to find out who it was. As soon as a bike pulled up she knew that it was Scott!

She got up from her spot and ran to Scott and tackled him to the ground, when he got off his bike. He screamed and glowed his eyes, trying to scare the huge wolf but the wolf-which was Artemis-just shook it's head and got off. "Oh my gosh! Scott are you okay? I'm so sorry about um..about, Artemis." Isabelle didn't know what to say to Scott. How could you tell a boy that likes your best friend, that she turns into a giant wolf? "Wh-what do you mean?" Scott was confused. He just wanted to drop by and see if Artemis was okay and he wanted to ask her something. "Um..how about you come inside and we'll explain everything." Scott nodded and walked in beside Isabelle with a giant wolf following behind him.

After explaining what had happened, Scott was amazed! He thought she looked beautiful! He loved her power! But he was scared of the risks. "So..this big beautiful, wolf. Is, Artemis." Scott pets her fur and she licks his hand. Artemis was surprised, Scott thought she-her wolf-was beautiful. She really thought he would run out, freaked! Oh, was she wrong! "So how long is she going to be like this?" Scott really wanted to ask, Artemis out-He did go to the institute just to see her and ask-and he needed to know when he could ask face-to-face. Not face-to-wolf!

Maryse replied to Scott's question, "Well, Deaton said that she should be changing back soon. And we have been trying, just no luck yet." Scott nodded. "Maybe I can help?" He asked with a toothy grin. Yes, he knew she would not be clothed if she did turn back, but that's not why he was smiling. Okay maybe he was smiling because of that, but he really did want to ask her out. "Hey, maybe it'll work? I mean, it's worth a shot!" Said Clary. The rest of the Shadowhunters nodded and they all went into the training room with some extra clothes for, Artemis.

"So, Scott. Since you're an Alpha, I think you should instruct her." Scott nodded, "Okay, Artemis. Try to think about your human body and just focus on that." Having Scott there was a big help to Artemis. When she thought about her human body she could feel her bond breaking and frowning smaller. She whimpers and it comes out as a sob. She looked around and saw Maryse, Alec, Isabelle, Clary, Jace, and Scott. All looking at her naked body. She looked down and blushed. They weren't even dating yet and he already saw her naked, she thought, great.

"Here are your clothes." Isabelle hands Artemis a towel to wrap around her self and she took the clothes and walked-well ran from embarrassment-to her room. "Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh." She kept repeating, pacing around her room. Her pacing stopped when she heard a knock at the door. "Artemis? It's me, Scott." Oh crap, she thought. She opened the door, "Um..Hey, Scott!" She looked down and scratched the back of her head. "Hey! I just wanted to make sure you are okay." Artemis smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine." Scott continued, "Well I actually wanted t-to ask you, um, a quest- a question." Was the Scott McCall stuttering?! "Go ahead." Artemis giggled. "Well, um, wou-would you l-like to go wi-with me on a-a, um, a d-date?" Artemis could tell Scott was nervous, but she thought it was cute! "Of course! I would love too!" Artemis and Scott were both smiling from ear to ear! She was screaming inside, finally he asked me out!

"So, um how about we hang out tomorrow night? Pizza, and movies?" Artemis didn't care what they did as long as they are together. "Yeah! Um, I'll text you, wait I don't have your number." "Oh! Here!" They exchange numbers and Artemis walks him down the stairs and to the front door. "Thank you, Scott." She got up on her tippy-toes and kissed his cheek. When she pulled away they both were blushing bright red. "Well I'll see you tomorrow?" Artemis nodded and watched as Scott walked backwards and almost tripped. She laughed to her self. Scott got on his bike and looked back at Artemis, gave her a toothy grin and waved. "Bye, Scott."

It was the next day and Scott and Artemis had been hanging out all day, not forgetting their friends. Artemis had become great friends with Lydia, Malia, Stiles, Mason, and Liam. Scott had become really good friends with Jace, Isabelle, Clary, and Alec. Artemis had been sitting watching the lacrosse players-well mainly Scott-practice. Once it was over she waited for Scott by the door of the locker room. "Hey!" Scott said and hugged the girl. "Hi." "So is it okay if we go to my house? I promise I'll get you home by 10:00!" He said clearly nervous. "Yeah that's fine!" She said. They left and headed toward Scott's house on his motorbike.

"Scott?" The two had ordered pizza and we're watching a random movie Scott had. "Yeah?" Artemis hesitated, "it's been quite these past few days. Do you think they decided to stop?" "Your right, it has been quite. Which makes me even more worried. Hopefully we'll get some time to figure out some plans and find the next two cipher keys." Scott replied in concern. "But let's not think about it anymore? Okay? Let's just have a good night." Artemis nodded and cuddle up next to Scott without thinking. Artemis jumped, "Oh! I'm sor-" But before she could finish Scott pulled her back into her original position and said, "No. It's okay. I-It's perfect."
