"So are all the institutions like this one?" Scott said looking around the old institute. Artemis giggled. "It depends if any shadowhunter family owns them. The one we own is in New York, but we decided to come here because of all the supernatural activity. And this institute, well nobody has lived her for a while it seems, until we came." She explained as they walked through the halls. "Why are there so many bedrooms?" Scott asked watching as multiple doors to rooms passed them. "Well, this is the residential wing. Shadowhunters can come here and stay for as long as they want. I don't know how many we can hold here but at the New York institute, we can hold up to two hundred Shadowhunters."

"Wow." "Yeah." The two walked in silence for a little longer until they reached the library. Artemis left Scott's side and walked to the shelves that held at least a thousand year old books. She picked one book in particular and sat down at the big long table in the middle of the room. "What's that?" Scott asked coming to sit by her. "It's called, The Gray Book. It contains all of the runes a Shadowhunter can mark on their bodies." Scott looked at her and asked, "Do you have all of them?" Artemis giggled and answered with a no.

Artemis taught Scott all the names of the runes and showed him a picture. "What's this one." Scott had pointed to a tune with a name that Artemis actually couldn't pronounce. "I actually don't know how to pronounce that one, but it means heartbreak." "Have you had to use it?" He looked at her with wonder. "No. Thankfully I've never felt the need to use it.." Her voice trailed off. "You sound almost relieved." "Yeah well... Those who have marked themselves with this rune say it's one of the most painful ones." Scott nodded but couldn't help the feeling inside him. He felt as if he was about to burst.

Suddenly Artemis felt Scott's warm lips on hers. She gasped as Scott picked her up. She had know idea what had started this, but she found her self enjoying this sudden urge from him. They kissed for what seemed like ages, but was only a few minutes. Artemis then remembered where she was. "Let's take this to the bedroom, yeah?" Artemis asked. He nodded breathless and she grabbed his hand and ran to her room. Let's just say they didn't sleep very much...
(Sorry of this part is bad.. I don't write smut and such, so sorry if it's really bad😂)

Artemis woke up to the feel of hands running through her hair. She breathed in and smelt Scott. "You're staring." She told him without opening her eyes, and cuddled deeper into his chest. "No I'm not." He scoffed. "It's called admiring." Artemis sat up and laughed. "Sure." She replied and kissed his cheek. She sighed and got out of the bed and went straight for the bathroom. "Wait, where are you going?" Scott whined. "I'm getting dressed. We have school remember." She laughed. Scott groaned and got dressed himself. "I better get home and change quick." He told her. Artemis nodded, "I'll see you at school?" He nodded and kissed her. Artemis grabbed the back of his neck deepening the kiss. Scott hummed in pleasure and smiled. "I love you." "I love you too."

Artemis sighed in pleasure as she looked down at her test. She had gotten an A. "Lydia! Psst, Lydia!" Malia said. Lydia look towards the were-coyote. "I passed! You know your notes are great when there not in code." But Malia's joy was taken as Coach set a test on her desk saying, "I'm disappointed, Malia. Profoundly disappointed." Malia sighed looking towards Lydia. "I'll send you my notes." Lydia then coughed getting back to her work but soon started studying the board. The board had names and numbers beside them, it made think of the dead pool. Kira noticed Lydia look towards the ground and spoke up in a whisper, "It's over. The computers are off." "No more assassins, no more murders, no ones dying." Artemis added. But Lydia still felt distraught, "Not yet."

"Artemis!" Artemis turned around to see Isabelle. "Izzy! What's up." She asked as the two walked towards Artemis's locker. "Well a little birdie told me you and Scott, you know." She said with a wink at the end. "And what birdie told you this?" "Jace. He said you two were so loud-" "Okay, Izzy I get it." Artemis said with a giggle. "Well anyways I'm gonna go to math." The two parted ways and Artemis soon spotted Scott. She started running and jumped up on his back and kissed his cheek. "Hey, babe." He said. "Hi." Artemis climbed down and stood in front of him. "So I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date tonight." "Yeah! Where and when?" Artemis swung their hands back and forth as they stared into each other's eyes. "Well I can't tell you where, it's a surprise. But I will pick you up around 6:30." Artemis smiled and nodded. She kissed his lips and waved. "I'll see you tonight."

"IZZY! I NEED YOU NOW!" Artemis was at a blocked road. She didn't know what to where for their date tonight. "What? What's wrong?" Isabelle asked rushing in Artemis's room. "I have a date with Scott tonight, and I have know idea what to wear." She pouted sitting down on the edge of her bed. "Well what are you doing tonight?" Isabelle asked sitting next to her. "It's a surprise." Isabelle nodded and went into Artemis's closet. "Oh! Perfect." Izzy pulled out an above the knee black and white striped dress with the sleeves cut off at the shoulders, and white converse. "You can go half fancy, and half casual." "Thank you!"

"Hey!" Scott said as Artemis opened the door. "Hey, so where are we going?" She asked stepping outside and the two walking to the motorbike. "The point of a surprise is not knowing." He laughed. The two got on the bike and rode off. "Derek's loft?" She was confused. Wasn't this supposed to be a date? "Yeah, but close your eyes." Artemis rolled her eyes and closed them and put her hands over them like a child. "Okay now I will guide you." He put his hands on her hips and they walked forward until they reached the door. "Okay you can open them." When she put her hands down Artemis noticed the door had already been open and light bulbs hung from wires that were hooked at the ceiling. "Scott! This is beautiful!" She turned around and kissed him.

"Did you bring a movie." Scott asked. "Yeah. I got it from Stiles, he said you've never seen it before, and he's gonna kill you if you don't." She said holding a blank movie case. Scott laughed and rolled his eyes. "Star Wars." Artemis nodded then looked around, "Um, where's the tv?" Then Scott realized there wasn't one so he found Derek's laptop. "So this is the fourth one?" Artemis hooks her arm with Scotts. "No, it's the first one. Even though it says fourth." She explained. "Then what's the first on?" Scott asked confused. "The fourth one. You know what," she closes the laptop. "Forget the movie."

Scott raises his eyebrows in a suggestive way. Artemis leans closer and kisses him. Soon enough his hands are on her waits while hers are in his hair. Artemis pulls away and slowly unbuttons his shirt. Scott looks at her with love and lust, he moves some hair from her face and the two continue to make out. Artemis climbs in his lap and starts to take off her jacket. Scott pulls away, looking towards the window. "Scott?" Suddenly two figures jump through the big window breaking it. It was Kate Argent and one of her berserkers.

Scott slowly opened his eyes to see he was still in Derek's loft. But he was being carried out by a berserker. He looked trying to find Artemis but could see her. Soon he was thrown against the door and saw Artemis in an intense fight with Kate. She was flown back by Kate and hit a wall falling to the floor unconscious. Scott got up ready to fight, kicking Kate and trying to punch at her. But Kate was fast.

Artemis woke up a few minutes later and saw a berserker headed her way. She picked her self up and grabbed the chains from the wall. Artemis started to swing it around trying to hit the berserker and succeeding at times, but the berserker caught the chain and pulled her to him. The two played tug of war for a minute until he hit Artemis knocking her unconscious once again.

Scott was starting to lose focus. With him being worried about Artemis and fighting Kate, he was getting tired. Kate cocked her head and threw him up against a pillar and started to punch and scratch. But Scott couldn't fight back and was thrown to the ground again but he still got back up. He sat against the pillar and looked towards Artemis who was being picked up by the berserker.

He winced as he turned toward Kate, "what do you want from us?" "I want a little bit of inside, Scott." She looked down at him. "What?" "My family. The Argent family has been around for over four hundred years. A powerful, wealthy, aristocratic family of werewolf hunters. But yet some how in less than a year, this great family is decimated. By a teenage boy." She leans down close to him. "So my question is simple. What is so special about Scott McCall?" Scott looks towards Artemis. "You want me, take me. Just me." Kate shakes her head, "Oh no. We're all going. We're all going to church!"

I actually love Kate, tbh. But anyways i finally updated. Hopefully I will be able to update more!
