Chapter 5

Previously on Missing Love...... 

"Let me go get the doctor..." she said turning off the machine and leaving out. I look at Matt with tears in my eyes. 

Matt's POV 

Right when carolina left, I looked down to Gabby. She was on the verge of crying. I gave her a kiss and said Matt." "Would I lie to you Gabby?" I asked her reassuring her. "No" she says closing her eyes trying to relax herself. I get a call, from Severide. "Hey bad time is it important?" I ask. "It will be quick, it is about Boden, I went to visit him and out of no where he used his right hand." he said with excitement. "Woah, when will he be discharged?" I asked amazed. "He just did I got to go." he said. "Ok well bye." I said hanging up the phone. "Who was that?" Gabby asked. "Severide, Boden was discharged and can move his right arm." I said taking her hand again. "Thats good." she said. The doctor and Carolina walked in. "Have you been experiencing morning sickness?" the doctor asked. "Yes, it just started today actually." Gabby response and squeezed my hand tighter. She put gel on Gabby's stomach and turned on the machine. "Well, Ms. Dawson, it looks like you have two sets of triplets, it looks like each set will be identical" the doctor said with amazement. "This is actually a rare set of triplets. Gabby was silent for literally 5 minutes at least. The doctor left and I just stared at her and gave her time to process it. I was trying to process it too. Crazy 6 mini us will be running around in less than a year. She finally spoke, "Matt its not nice to stare you know" she said a smart remark. "Haha well you have something to stare at." I said kissing her head. The doctor walked in and gave us a picture of each baby and said, "enjoy your time alone right now" and laughed. "Haha, thank you. How many weeks am I?" Gabby asked looking at the pictures. " By the measurements you seem to be around 12 weeks right now." she said looking at the clipboard. "Woah already?" Gabby asked. "Yea with 6 kids it will happen sooner or you will literally pop." the nurse said. "Ok thank you." Gabby said. "There is medicine at the front desk for you to pick up on your way out." The nurse said walking out. We head out and get her medication and head home. 

At Matt's apartment 

"So I have an idea how to tell the house" Gabby said. "Well what is it" I asked. "Well get each picture on one page and put baby1-6 on each picture and put 12 weeks. Put it in each of their locker and let them figure it out." she said leaning into me. "That would be pretty interesting, also we are going to need a bigger house, and I want to build it. "I can have it done in 2 months with help, but I want to know the genders before I start any of it, cause I have a good idea." I said walking to the office. "what are you doing?" she asked. "Going to make those copies." he said. "Ok, I'll come, also I should find the gender in the next appointment" she said following me. After we finished the copies we headed to bed, we had shift the next day and we need to get there before the chief, which is pretty hard. 

The alarm went off and I turned it off. Gabby didn't sleep well so I want her to sleep in. I got her work clothes out and then started to make breakfast. Then I packed are bags and brought them to the truck. I went up and got dressed and woke up Gabby with breakfast. "Good morning Baby" I said giving her passionate kiss. "Thanks" she said sleepily. "Everything is ready for you to get ready, bags are packed and in the truck." I say hoping in bed. "Thanks" she said taking a bite of food. "When you are ready we will leave." I say putting my arm around her waist. "Your food is amazing but I don't have an appetite you can finish it, I'm going to get ready. Gabby got ready fast and we were out the door an hour early. 

We got to the house and set everything up and made it look like we got here at different times. First up was chief he saw the paper on his desk and automatically knew it was us and we told him to be quiet till everyone figured it out. Herman and Mouch came in, they went strait to their locker room as I was hiding while Matt sat in his usual spot. I walked to my locker looking like I just got there and opened my locker. I got the picture too. All three of us locked around, I surged my shoulders and got ready. I walked out and sat next to Matt and laughed. When everyone got the picture, me and Matt were holding them too they all came and sat at the tables. "So who has 6 babies and and won't tell us?" herman asked. "I don't know, but does it look like Dawsey baby?" Casey asked as we both stood up. "What?!?!?!" everyone said. "Yea and there is 6 babies in me." Dawson said."Thats a lot to handle" Herman said. "Yeah we know" we both said. "Well I'm going to need help building a house with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms so we have no fights when they are older. I want them all connected and we are near too." Matt said. A lot of people are going to help. We are a huge family, we help each other.
