Annie Pov;

I'm so sorry L, but you know I had to do this. You and I both know that this relationship or whatever we have isn't going to work. Especially if you suspect me. On the way home, I saw your laptop, with all of my information on it. I just can't trust you anymore, and I hope you understand why.

L Pov;

I understand why you ran away. You've found out almost everything, almost. And you know as I'm a very secretive person, I'm planning on keeping my whole identity. I understand where you're coming from, you've been through a lot lately. Some tough decisions that you have had to make by yourself.

Near must have been enough trouble for you. I couldn't imagine how much pressure I put on you that night. And for that, I'm sorry.

Annie Pov;

I know you're trusting me to keep your secret. But what I don't understand is why you were so interested in me that day. You didn't even know me. You were demanding that we discuss some things, and I followed through. But I'm not stupid! I saw through you.

You said that night that you knew more than I thought. I know you do. But I'm a step ahead. You think that I don't know how much you know, your evidence gives it away! You're too easy to crack.

L Pov;

You think I trust you, because that's what I wanted you to know. But what you don't know, is that I'm risking everything for you, so you can't find out. Because what if you're not the one who has been experimenting with criminals. If you are, I know you're not the only one, and that is my secret to keep.

Annie Pov;

If you suspect me, and know how I kill, it wouldn't take long for you to find out that there is one more person in this world that possesses this power.

If you found this out, we would both be in trouble. And that's why I can't show any hints of evidence that I did anything. Otherwise I'm not guilty, you won't have any evidence against us.

You're intelligent. I wouldn't be surprised if you solved this case.

You may have solved all the others. But you will never solve me.
