I hoped down the stairs. I smelt BACON!
Suddenly, as soon as I reached the bottom of the stairs a frying pan came flying at me. I ducked with my ever fast reflexes. (Don't have a clue why I have them my parents are as slow as slugs.) But I couldn't escape the grease that had spun from the pan. It hit the back of my neck. At the same time my father grabbed my hands and tied them. He began hitting the sides of my head. And my ribs were soon bruised as he hit over and over.
I screamed in pain. Dizziness over took me. I collapsed to the floor. I was able to see my father raise his hand again to bring it down over my head. Losing consciousness was bliss.
