I blinked. I hadn't noticed I had been staring at my bedroom ceiling. I swung my legs over the side of my bed. Blind walking I stumbled down the stairs and into the kitchen. Taped to my fridge was a note:

Meet at the training grounds.

No breakfast.

Hatake Kakashi.

Wait how did he get in my house? I thought as I searched around for my shoes. Finding them I got to the grounds seconds before Kakashi did.

"You're LATE!" Sakura shouted at Kakashi as soon as he landed. And wait for it....

"Sorry, I got lost on the road of life."

"Liar." Naruto and Sakura said in unison. Kakashi just shrugged in response.

"Ok today we will be doing a survival test. Why I asked you not to eat breakfast? Because if you do not get a bell from me, you don't get lunch. And then you get to watch as I eat mine." Naruto and Sakura started yelling at him. All I did was look at Sasuke and shrug. Naruto then proceeds to attack Kakashi. Kakashi says, "Go." Naruto attacks Kakashi again. I went deeper into the woods surrounding the grounds. Looking down I saw Sasuke. Dropping down, I landed lightly beside him.

"Do you think we should help Naruto?" I said. Sasuke looked at me and nodded.

"Let's go." I said. As we dropped down my vision sharpened. This is just like when I transformed into Sasuke at the academy. Kakashi turned when he heard us hit the ground. His visible eye shot open in surprise. And it was towards me. I was able to sense a strange fear in him. Sasuke must have noticed it. He tried to look me in the eyes. But before he could I pelted towards Kakashi. I could feel power and speed coursing through me. I dodged all the strikes he made. It's like I can see what he'll do next. I thought as I grabbed his arm and flipped him. He remained on the ground where he had fallen and did nothing. "Your eyes when did you unlock the... Kowareta Kagami, the Broken Mirror?" Kakashi questioned me as he stared into my eyes.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused. He reached into his pocket and brought out a small mirror. My reflection stared back at me. Except my eyes weren't my eyes. They were like literally broken mirrors. Lines crossed in the middle were the pupil should be. The left was red and the right was green. I gasped and dropped the mirror. My knees gave out. Sasuke caught me. I looked up into his onyx eyes. He patted down my hair as my eyes closed.

(Time Skip)

My eyes hurt. That's all I can focus on. That and I was still wearing the clothes I was yesterday. I lay still. Wait. Where am I?  I thought as I turned my head side to side. I saw nothing but blank walls. Sitting up I rubbed my forehead. Stumbling I managed to find stairs and make it down them. Noise came somewhere to my right. Following it I saw Sasuke standing at a stove. He raised his eyebrows when he saw me.

"You're awake."

"And you're cooking."

"Yes I am. Why are you so surprised about it?" I shrugged.

"What are you cooking anyway?" I asked sitting at the table.

"Omelets with tomatoes." He put down the plate in front of me. Then sat next to me. I finished without talking.

"Good, I'm guessing." He said chuckling.

"Yeah! I never knew you could cook this good."

"Thank you. Oh and these were dropped off for you." He said as he handed me a couple of scrolls.

"Thanks." I said as I slowly took them from him.

"Do you know what they're for?" I looked down than back up at Sasuke. I sighed then answered, "I'm going on a three year mission tomorrow." He looked at me in silence. After a couple seconds he picked up the dishes and put them in the sink.

"DAMN!!!" He yelled, slamming his fists into the counter. "Why...?" He didn't turn as he said this. His shoulders were shaking. I made him turn around to face me. Tears were coursing down his face.

"Oh, Sasuke." I hugged him. He hugged me back tightly. He mumbled into my hair, "It's just that I don't want to lose anyone else that's important to me."

"Sasuke I will come back. I promise." He looked at me. I continued," Just you promise me you won't make any dumb decisions while I'm gone."

Wiping his face he replied, "Ok, I won't."

"Good. Sorry but I have to go get ready for this mission. I waved goodbye. He waved.

Sighing I closed the door of my house behind me. Walking up the stairs towards my bedroom I thought about everything. Team 7, Sasuke, the wounded girl. Shoving extra clothes in a bag, I looked around for my IPod. Finding it I grabbed my earbuds. Slamming the door shut I turned and looked at the Hokage monument. I was just able to see it from my porch. Give me strength previous Hokage ... and those yet to come. Sprinting I made it to the gate with nobody stopping me.

"You aren't going to say goodbye to us before you leave?" A voice came from behind me. I turned to see Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Smiling I covered the distance in two steps. Without thinking I gave them a tight group-hug.

"I'll miss you guys." I said. Without letting them say anything I turned and ran through the gates. I didn't look back as tears welled up and feel down my face.
