He came out and wrapped me in his arms. He accidently squeezed me to hard and hurt my injured arm. I gave a squeak of pain. He loosened his grip and looked at me, then the team. I looked at him. I broke away from Inugasha and kneeled beside Inuyasha.
"This is all my fault." H was still mumbling
"Inuyasha?" I asked. He looked up, his eyes full of tears.
"Why? Why did she have to die and be taken?" He wailed. I brought him to me and gave him a hug. I looked up at Inugasha.
"Please, we need your help." I pleaded. Inugasha looked at me. Inuyasha looked up at me.
"Kagome? You're still alive?"
"NO, I don't know. I'm Kagoya, not Kagome." I responded. He looked down.
"Sorry, I really miss her. I didn't protect her, like I should have. It's –"
"Don't say it." I interrupted him. "I will make sure that we get Kagome back."
And I knew how.
