Naruto and Inuyasha, Collide!

Chapter 9: Inuyasha side

Ever since Kagome had broken the Sacred Jewel, I've been traveling with them. Along the way, we've meet Miroku, a monk/womanizer with a wind tunnel in his right hand; Sango, the last of a demon-slayer village with a giant boomerang; Kirara, a two-tailed demon cat that is Sango's pet and can transform into a giant, flying cat; and Shippo, a little Kitsune fox child with no parents. So and that basically sums up the last couple weeks. Or however long it's been.

We travel in search of the jewel shards with demons attacking along the way. One greedy demon, Naraku, is trying to steal the whole jewel for himself. We've finally taken it back and put the jewel back together. Well.... Somewhat together. The only shard that we haven't taken is the one in Kohaku's back. Who is Sango's younger brother and Naraku's current puppet. 

Anyway, I have figured out what that lady meant. I have the power that combine all the world's power. Oh, and one thing that I almost forgot about, we are also missing a small jewel shard. The only problem is we have no clue where it is. It seems to have disappeared. Kagome can't even sense it. Which is saying alot. 

We have settled down for the night near a stream surrounded by trees. I'm sitting with Sango, Shippo, Miroku, and Kirara. Kagome and Inuyasha are sitting at the stream talking.

"You know I like you just the way you are." I hear Kagome say to Inuyasha.

I think of my own half-demon boyfriend on the other side of the well, Inugasha. I sigh. Then the wind picks up. I straighten. I am about to warn the others when a gust makes me put a force field around the five of us. But I couldn't reach Inuyasha or Kagome.

So I keep a force field around the others and started towards the pair. Suddenly the lady with the mirror appears. I halt but my feet slip and I crash into the bank, injuring my left arm. I struggle to throw a force field around the two. Inuyasha starts moving making it impossible. I let out a cry of pain as I dislodge my injured arm from the bank. I try to get up but my foot is stuck.

All I can do is watch and make myself invisible. Inuyasha gets strapped to the tree. Kagome gets out her bow and arrow then shoots. I know that it is a mistake. The arrow goes into the mirror and comes back out towards Inuyasha. Gasping, I watched Kagome grab the scarf and jump in front of the arrow. It pierces through her chest and everyone goes silent.

"Why Kagome!" Inuyasha shouts.

"You always save me," Kagome whispers weakly, "It was my turn." Her head droops and she slides to the ground. I am frozen in terror unable to move. I couldn't believe it. Mirror woman uses some kind of levitating thing to carry Kagome away. Inuyasha struggles against his restraints and calls out to the still Kagome. I manage to throw a tracking chip on her before she disappears. Inuyasha was released and he sat down not moving. Dislodging my foot from the mud, I rushed towards him.

He kept his face down. I used a scanning spell to look him over. He was fine. I took out some bandages to wrap around my arm. Then I slowly rested my hand on his shoulder.

"Inuyasha?" He kept his head down.

"It's all my fault." He mumbled. "She would still be alive if I hadn't been so quick to rush."

She's been trying to tell you. I thought to myself. But not out loud because if I had. It would make him more devastated then  he already is.

"Everything is going to be okay. Come on. We all need you Inuyasha." I pleaded. A rustle came from the bushes. I opened my hands as two electric balls formed. I needed to protect the still in-shock Inuyasha.

"Whoa, hold your fire." A voice came. I let the balls disappear.

"Inugasha!"
