"Kagoya!" She shouted then saw me behind her. She gulped and helped me out. We started towards the woods when I heard the leaves tremor.
I stopped.
Kagome stopped.
I looked at her and she shrugged. I grew uneasy. I knew that she had the jewel. I knew what was going to happen. I opened my mouth to warn her when the ropes burst out to wrap around us, while pinning us down. Village men on horses trotted out of the trees and glared at us. Then grew surprised. I heard them begin to murmur.
"Who are they?"
"I do not know, they're not from around here."
"Are they demons?"
They were looking at us then murmuring.
"Ugh."
I put my had against my knees the best I could. Kagome was getting worried I could tell.
"Don't worry, I'm fine." Obviously I wasn't, considering how wavy my voice was. Take us to the village already. I thought. A man without a horse came and forced us up. I wobbled.
"You idiot! You wrapped her to tight! We're supposed to bring back intruders, ALIVE not DEAD!" They loosened the rope on me and I took a great big breath of relief. I've never had to breathe like this before. All hoarse and crud.
They took us to the village and of course Kaede thought we were demons, tried to dispel us and all that good happy, not, stuff. (A/N, Genie: If any of you have watched the real episode of Inuyasha, you know what would happen next. If you don't I advise asking someone.) Anyway we're out in the forest and Inuyasha just slayed Mistress Centipede. I'm just standing there like DA' GEEE! Kagome and the old woman Kaede are looking the same way. I know he's a half-demon and all, but it was FUDGING AWESOME! Kaede asks Kagome something but I don't hear it. The voices are back. I wobble and leaned against a tree. Why do I keep getting these stupid things? I look up and see Inuyasha is chasing Kagome to the bridge. I follow.
At the bridge I start laughing at the 'Sit Boy'. That's when Kaede makes us a team. I just think, Great I have to work with him. But what about the powers?
