Opening my eyes I stared at the ceiling. Today I meet my sensei. I thought as I looked at the clock. It was still a while till I had to be at the academy. So I took a LONG shower. I let the cold water run down my back. And after I don't even know how long I shut off the water. Getting out I wrapped myself in a green towel that matched pretty much my entire house. Looking at the clock again, I began to get dressed. Then not hungry I walked straight out the door. Quickening my pace I managed to get there before anyone else did. A couple minutes later, Sasuke pushes open the door. He smiled at me as he sat next to me. I scooched closer. For I knew what was about to happen. Naruto comes in with a group of people and sits at the end of the bench. I looked back down at my iPod and continued to read Naruto Shippuden. Making sure that Sasuke couldn't see. Since I was at a part that involved him. On a pretty serious degree.
"Hey, you're Olivia, right? Thanks!" I turned to Naruto and said, "Huh?" He smiled and tapped his headband.
"You believed in me. That I really could become a ninja." After a second I beamed almost bigger than Naruto was.
"No problem." I stated.
"Wait, but how did you know I was still going to get my headband? Even though I didn't pass the graduation exam." He said confused.
"Because I know everything." I smiled evilly as I finished my statement. Before Naruto could say anything the door flew open. Ino and Sakura barged through. Then the arguing began about who was their first and who got to sit next to Sasuke, blah-blah-blah. I think everyone gets the point.
Before I knew it Naruto was crouched on the desk in front of Sasuke. As they glared at each other, I turned the camera of my iPod on. A couple seconds later, somebody turned around and bumped straight into Naruto. Off balance Naruto feel forward. Making sure my camera was ready I waited for the moment. Right as Naruto and Sasuke's lips touched. Click! I laughed hysterically as the two separated and spouted very colorful language. Sakura cracked her fingers behind me.
"Your dead, Naruto." Slowly, I stood up to face her. I felt a dark aura surrounding me.
"You're wrong. You're dead if you touch Naruto." As I said this I cracked my fingers even louder than Sakura. Beat that. A scared, surprised look crossed Sakura's face and she nodded. Satisfied I sat back down with Sasuke on my left. Naruto sat to my right. Sakura sat at the end attempting to get as far from me as the bench allowed. I glanced at Sasuke. We made eye-contact. He gave me a questioning look. I only smiled and faced the front of the room, where Iruka was waiting.
"Today everyone will be put on squads with a Jonin master. I will say the cell number and the students in the squad. You find out your master after lunch." As Iruka rattled of the lists I continued to read on my IPod.
"Squad 7 is Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura," Naruto cheers while Sakura sulks. "Uchiha Sasuke," Sakura cheers, Naruto sulks. "And Royal Olivia." They all looked at me. Sasuke raised his hand.
"Yes, Sasuke."
"Why do we have 4 instead of 3 people?"
"Because there is an extra student this year. And a certain Jonin wanted to mentor Olivia. Got it?" Sasuke nodded when Iruka finished. Iruka then continued the team announcements. Naruto began his argument of being on the same team as Sasuke and all that.
After that we were dismissed for lunch. I found a tree to sleep in. Ten minutes before I had to meet my sensei I walked back to the academy. When I got there only Sasuke sat at the benches.
"Hey, Sasuke."
"Hey, Olivia." We sat in silence.
"I never knew your clan name was Royal." Sasuke said as he faced me.
"I didn't either till a couple days ago." As soon as I finished Naruto and Sakura came in. Naruto set the eraser trap. Oh, for heaven's sake, really! I thought and Plop! The eraser fell onto the silver haired head of a half-masked man. Hatake Kakashi. I thought as I giggled.
"My first thought of you is: I hate you." I sweat dropped. We went to the roof to do introductions.
"Ok, I want your name, hobbies, likes, dislikes, and dreams." Kakashi explained.
"But you should give us an example." Sakura said. Kakashi told us about him. Even though all we learned was his name. And I had already knew that. It got us all pretty annoyed at him.
"Naruto Uzumaki. I love ramen, especially instant ramen. I hate the three minute wait after putting the water in. My dream is to become the greatest Hokage. BELIEVE IT!"
"Ok, next."
"My name is Sakura Haruno. I like, uh." Looks at Sasuke. "My dreams for the future, uh." Looks, again, at Sasuke. "I hate Naruto." Naruto sulks at this.
"Next."
"I am Sasuke Uchiha. I like nothing. I hate everything. I have no hobbies. My dream is to kill him." Everyone was quiet. Naruto looked scared.
"Ok, then next." Kakashi looks at me.
"I am Olivia. I would rather not mention my clan. I like quiet. I hate when people ruin their lives with revenge." I look squinty-eyed at Sasuke. "My dream is to protect those that I care about. No matter what it may take." They all looked at me with unreadable expressions. Even Naruto managed one. What did I say? I thought. Sakura spoke up, "Why not mention your clan? Your clan is something that you're supposed to be proud of." I looked at her sadly.
"Well then I guess I have nothing to be proud of. My entire clan is gone." I stood up. And with that I flipped over the roof's railing and headed towards home.
