Bang! Bang!
"Ugh! I'm COMING!"I yelled as I tromped down the stairs towards my front door. Rubbing my eyes with one hand, I opened the door with the other.
"Hello, are you, Olivia?"
"Yes."
"You need to report to the academy for graduation exams." My eyes shot open.
"Oh, crud. That was today?" I raced back up stairs and changed out of my p.j.'s. Sprinting out the door I slammed it shut behind me. I speed up when the academy came into view. I slammed open the door. Everyone gave me weird looks before turning away.
"Well, nice of you to turn up. It's your turn, Olivia." Iruka said tapping on a clipboard.
"Ok."
"Then come on." I followed him into the room. There was a weird looking guy sitting at the desk with leaf headbands across it. Wait I know who this guy is. GAH!!! Why can't I remember his name?
"Olivia, to pass you must perform the clone jutsu. Making one copy of yourself."
"Got it!" I concentrated on making two of me just to blow them straight out the water. Three minutes later I walked out with a headband across my forehead. Nobody was in the hallway. Going outside there was groups of people. Must be parents congratulating their kids.
"Is that the boy?"
"Yeah. I heard he—"I didn't let the woman talking finish. I crouched in front of Naruto.
"Hey." I whispered. He looked up at me with a sad, blank look.
"You know you will still get your headband." I continued brushing hair out of his face.
"How?" He questioned.
"Because never going back on your word is your ninja way." Standing up I glared at everyone. An ANBU walked towards me. I looked up at his or her mask. Oh, for the love of ramen. Why am I so SHORT? I thought.
"Olivia, the Hokage would like to speak with you." I nodded. Glancing over my shoulder I smiled at Naruto. Pushing through the people I found my way to the road. When I got close to the hospital building I heard a commotion. I looked around and meet the brown eyes of a girl. Her short hair was so smeared with blood and dirt I couldn't find the color. Her headband draped crooked off to one side. And what surprised me was the village symbol was completely scratched off. The eyes that stared at me were clouded with pain. All over her arms and legs were wounds. A black ops pushed her saying something. She cried out in pain as she fell to the pavement. I couldn't help but cover my mouth with shock. I stepped forward. Then thought better of it. Whipping around I walk as fast as I can to the Hokage building. A person showed me to the office, knocked, then left.
"Come in." A voice came through the door. I breathed out slowly. I bowed as I opened the door.
"Hello, Olivia."
"Hello, Lord Third."
"Sit." He said gesturing to the chair across from him. I took the seat gratefully.
"Congrats on passing the exam."
"Thank you very much, sir."
"I called you here to talk about your clan." I clenched my hands in my lap. But I looked at his face. He continued, "Kakashi has already told you that you are of the Royal clan. And that it was eliminated 12 years ago." I nodded.
"Well, it was assassinated by ANBU black ops form another land. They say it was all for the sake of the power they thought would go out of control."
"Oh." I stared at my hands. The Hokage adjusted something on his desk.
"The other thing I wanted to tell you is that after tomorrow you are being sent on a 3 year mission."
"Why?"
"Because the elders believe that since you are able to run for long periods of time, you are the best decision." I sat up straight.
"I accept the mission."
"I am glad that you do. And now that that is settled you may go home. Info on the mission will be sent to you." I stood.
"Oh and you meet your sensei at the academy tomorrow. And do not be late." I nodded smiling.
After getting home, I collapsed on the couch. Staring at the ceiling I feel asleep.
