So my mom got in a car accident.
Last night, I was at my friend's house, perfectly happy, and then my dad just had to come take me home. I was fine with this, to be honest.
Then my dad kept getting these phone calls that I couldn't eavesdrop on.
So I asked, innocently, "Dad, what are all these phone calls for?"
He smiled and told me that mom got into a car accident, and that we were going to see her at the hospital later.
But I had to finish my Kumon first. So I got that done and then we left.
The hospital was huge and fancy, and I had brought my iPad mini so it seemed alright.
We met mom who was sitting in the waiting room. She looked fine, really.
"Hi mom."
"Hi Corinne."
And I sat in the chair next to her and we talked about stuff and I read on Wattpad and wrote the first entry in here.
So, um, yeah.
