"I am the North Side's leader."

I blinked several times before I got out of my trance.

"You are?" I asked, astonished with the fact he told.

"You think I'm lying?"

I stared at him. Lying? Surely he must be.

"Mimi said the leader won't bother talking to me."

"Yes she said that. But she doesn't know me personally to know who I want to speak with," he answered smoothly, like the real deal.

He made a point there. Muli, pinagmasdan ko ang kaharap.

Hindi ito nakahuma ng hinawakan ko ang cheeks nito, tapos tinurn ko mukha nito sa right side, then left side, at sa huli ay binalik ko sa puwesto nito.

"Hmmm...may itsura ka nga gaya ng description ni Mimi," I commented after the inspection of his face I made. "Pero marami namang taong may itsura sa mundong ito," wala sa loob kong wika.

Hinawakan ko ang baba ko at malalim na nag-isip na tila ba nagsosolve ako ng isang mystery case. "Give me a proof," utos ko dito sa huli.

Nakangusong umupo ulit ako sa tabi ni Rain.

I heard him chuckle. "If you look at it from their side, you really are."

"Ahhh! Pa'no na yan? I need someone who can testify you are real."

"I'm real and never been a fake."

Bumuga ako ng malalim na hangin at sumusukong tumingin dito.

"Sige na nga, kunwari naniwala na ako."

"Parang napilitan ka pang maniwala sa lagay na yan."

"Eh, since I have no choice what to believe, I'll just believe what you said...temporarily."

"Believing temporarily? That's new," saad nito.

I did not comment at what he said and instead offered my hand to him. "Okay! Meeting part two! I'm Yuri Park!" wika ko sa masiglang boses.

Inabot naman nito ang kamay ko at shinake iyon. "Rei."

"Yeah! Officially friends na tayo! Yay!" Truly, I am happy beyond the definition of that word. I am walking straight to the path of a normal student.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" curious nitong tanong.

"Bakit naman?"

"Since I'm Rei - the North Side's leader."
