Rosie Lesley's View;
My heart raced as I ran on the track. I ran and ran and ran and ran. All my friends were on the side of the track, waiting until I was going to be done. The reason behind me running was because I was under loads of stress. Mother laid in bed all day. Hayes didn't show up to school. Plus Liz was in the process of dying.
I stopped running, and took a seat on the bleachers. It was very warm today, at least in the high eighties. Grace, Brooke and Gabby were sitting on the bleachers also. "Rosie, we need to leave soon. It's already sunset." Grace Smith told me.
"Fine by me, I'm going to rest for a couple of minutes. I'll see you guys tomorrow." I wheezed, holding my knees with the palm of my hands.
Grace and Brooke left, but for some reason gabby stayed. I stayed quiet for a couple moments until Gabby spoke up. "Rosie, what's wrong? You seem different today. All day in class you seemed so unfocused. Now you're running, what's up? You know you can tell me anything."
I looked over at Gabby and smirked. "Wanna know what happen? Me and Hayes had sex." I whispered, giggling. Gabby's mouth formed an 'O'
"Oh my goodness, Rosie! I'm shocked, but so excited! Please tell me you used protection." Gabby sighed, looking down.
"Of course we did, apparently he planned the whole thing. Hayes had at least 8 condoms with him." I giggled, blushing from talking about my sex life.
"Good, I don't want to see my best friend pregnant at fifteen! Phew, I would've killed that boy." Gabby giggled, as we started walking towards the exit.
My mind drifted off to the events that has happened today. Well first off, my health teacher started talking about getting AIDS, or SID's. Or even get pregnant from protected sex. Which freaked me the hell out.
Second, Carter tried saying shit to me about Hayes. Of course, I ignored his comments.
Third, Gabby and Grace had there last soccer practice. Our school color is blue and white. I think that their last game will be memorable!
Fourth, Mrs.Ryan was being extremely polite to me. Every five minutes she would always try to compliment me.
Fifth, lunch was extremely boring without Hayes. But Gabby tried to make it enjoyable. She tried to shove carrots up her nose, which helped a lot.
When we arrived to the front of my house and mom waved at both of us. "Gabriella dear, you can stay for dinner if you like. Your father gave me a call and told me that he would be able to pick you up at eight."
"Yea, that would be lovely!" Gabby smiled.

I arrived to the camp sight. "Have fun, Rosalie!" Mom hugged me goodbye and left shortly afterwards. Hayes was in his group with Carter, Aaron, JJ&JG, Matt and Taylor. I made my way towards Skylynn's tent. Skylynn was with Johnnie. Before I could cross the small bridge, Hayes came over with his group and teased me from holding so much. "If you're gonna complain, you can just carry the cooler." I sighed, practically throwing my tent bag towards Hayes.
"I thought I could hold the cooler." Hayes whined, holding the heavy duffle bag.
"I don't trust you with it. Taylor please take the cooler." I demanded in a polite way.
"Of course, Rosie." Taylor took it, Sky came running over to us with a humongous smile.
"You made it Rosalie!! I'm so happy, do you think you can check out my drawing? I think I've gotten really good!" Skylynn bombarded me with words which weren't very audible, but after a couple of moments I caught onto her words.
"Of course, but I have to get settled in first, okay sweetheart?" I kindly asked Sky.
Skylynn nodded, she didn't mind. She was probably just happy that I came. I was suppose to be with Ashlynn's group, but sky begged me to sleep in her tent. Ashlynn has been apart of the church since she was born. Ash invited me into her group just a couple of days ago. With everything going on in sky's life at the moment, I couldn't go with Ash. I had to stay with Skylynn.
"Alright," Skylynn shuffled through her bag. Out came a pink ribbon. "Wear this, so we are always together, by heart." Skylynn drew attention towards herself.
"Skylynn, come here please." I placed my belongings on the ground, and crouched down. Skylynn came towards me, crossing her arms. "Go and hang out with your friends, or go ask one of the boys to do an activity with you. I have to set up a couple of things. Then I will definitely check out your drawing." I used a stern tone, then pecked sky's forehead.
"Ewie, now I have Chapstick on my forehead." Skylynn wiped off the barely wet surface.
I got back to my task. Half the tent was set up, and Johnnie was drinking beer behind the tall oak tree. That wasn't going to end well.
Hayes and Taylor helped me set up the green colored tent. Taylor knew some French so he was able to figure out the directions. Once all the pieces were connected, it stood up very tall.
This tent was for me and Sky. Elizabeth insisted that 'the girls' had their privacy. Liz was going to be in the same camper tonight, but you know; things happen. Johnnie shared his tent with Mr. Tifë. What those two had in common was that they both liked drinking. Mr.Tifë was the one with the 'stash' of beer.
Anyways, once the tent was completed I was going to get Skylynn. Since she has been bugging me ever since I arrived. But Skylynn was with a group of girls, they were throwing rocks into the small river.
"Don't bother, she's going to forget about it sooner or later. The guys and I wanted to explore the path. Wanna come check it out with us?" Hayes asked me, as his hand was curled up with mine.
I had two options. Go with the little girl and deal with complaining every five minutes about the heat, or go with Hayes and the guys through the woods. Getting bitten by God knows how many mosquitos. After a minute or so I decided to go with Hayes. But I had to put loads of bug spray on first.
