Rosalie Lesley's View;
"Can you grab me a vanilla shake? I really wanna get home." Hayes asked me, with puppy eyes.
I rolled my eyes with a goofy smirk. "Anything for you."
I walked into Burger N Go, and I noticed Gabby sitting at a table in the back. Immediately she jogged over at me. "Oh my gosh!" Gabby squealed, which grabbed the attention of others.
"Calm down, what's up?" I whispered, pulling her into line.
"Daniel's going to a movie premiere Friday night. Theo James is going to be there! We need to go dress shopping together." Gabby explained with such happiness in her eyes.
"When do you want to do this?" I asked Gabby, as we became second in line.
"Right now?" Gabby had that personality where things needed be done immediately.
"I can't today, I'm going to Liz's house. But wait a second, did Daniel even invite you to go with him?" I asked.
"No." Gabby glumly answered, "but I believe I should be invited . I'm his girlfriend after all." Gabby smirked, flipping her hair, which caused me to smirk.
Finally, as I became first in line i ordered a vanilla & a chocolate shake.
Me and Gabby chatted for a short time longer, then my meal was completed.
"I gotta go now, text me though. I'll see you soon." Me and Gabby hugged, and I headed outside.
Hayes was jamming away in the car, and I laughed hysterically once he noticed I was watching.
"I didn't see anything!" I raised both my hands in defense once I sat in the car.
"Sure..." Hayes spoke sarcastically, taking his shake and slurping continuously.
I kept rolling my eyes, until the point where it was just obnoxious. "Are you kidding me, Hayes?" Now i was a little pissed off, but only in a joking manner.
"Nope!" Hayes giggled, as we pulled into the driveway of Liz's house.
I jumped out of the car, and Skylynn came running out of the house.
"I've been waiting all day for you two!" Sky giggled, jumping into my arms.
"Well, I've been super excited to see you too!" I kissed Skylynn's cheek, then she started staring at my milkshake in my hand.
"Can I have some please?" Sky smirked, and of course I couldn't say no. I plopped her on the ground and handed her the cup.
Me and Hayes proceeded to walk inside. Liz was sitting on the couch. Her face looked pale, and she was wearing a black beanie.
A bottle of water was set beside her on a table, her favorite quilt was on top of her, the television program was a series of Gilmore Girls.
Skylynn ran to her room to continue playing with her Barbie dolls, andd practically stole my shake.
"Go see her, she won't speak to anyone. My wife won't even eat, can you please try to convince her?" Johnny whispered to me, as he held out a bowl of oatmeal.
"Please." Johnny begged, after I became indecisive.
"Fine." I nodded my head, walking over to the sofa which Liz was located.
Liz had a small smile to my face, but I couldn't tell if she was smiling about the show, or the fact that I was finally in her presence.
"Hi Liz," I smiled, placing the bowl of Oatmeal on the side table.
She continued to stare at the television, not even glancing at me. I waited a couple more minutes but no answer arose.
"You need to eat for me. Please Elizabeth, you won't have a chance to live longer if you don't eat." My voice started cracking up, not being able to accept the fact that Hayes Mother has a huge chance of dying in the near future.
"Let me see that bowl." Liz whispered, which made me bolt up.
I handed her the bowl and she took a couple of bites before handing it back to me. "Thank you." I smiled, and placed the bowl back on the end table.
Hayes gave a small smile from the other side of the room and Johnny was surprised for sure.
Hayes Grier's View;
Me and Johnny made our way into the kitchen. He started cleaning up and sighed, "This morning i thought your mother wasn't going make it much longer. But now? She has a chance, if she eats regularly and takes her pills, she'll have a couple of more months."
"Just stop it, okay?" I blurted out, furious. "She's gonna die in the next couple of months, I know that. But right now, we need to focus on what's going to happen with Skylynn."
Johnny gave a very evil smirk, then suddenly dashed his hand on my cheek. He had slapped me. "That's all your worried about? That stupid girl? Your mother is in the process of dying and all you care about is your sister?"
"It seems all you care about is the money you'll get. My mother loves you, she dedicated eight years of her life to you-"
"Never accuse me of being in this for the money." Johnny slammed his hand on the counter.
Rosie stood around the corner probably worried from all the commotion.
"There's something wrong with Liz." Rosie informed us, with tears now streaming down her face.
