After lying awake for awhile, I paced my room, suddenly feeling anxious. I had a lot of unanswered questions, and I felt extremely out of place here.

I contemplated my plan for today, I haven't made time to try and regain my memories.

I often threw around the thought of if I even wanted to regain them, if I should try and escape. Or if I was even in some weird dream.

But it was all to real to be a dream, and seeing how large and protected this place looked on the inside, it was most likely heavily guarded outside.

Mark had already agreed to let me have a couple resting days and apologized, I guess before, this was a normal workout.

I needed to start learning more about myself and others. Finally, looks like you've come to your senses.  I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, I guess so. Do you remember everything before I forgot?", she didn't answer for a while.

Yes. I have always been with you, ever since you became of age and were ready.

I hated this feeling of constantly being confused. I wonder if this is how people feel with amnesia.

Do you remember our conversation from the night before?  "Yes, I do.

Then you should know that it shouldn't come as a surprise when she wakes up. She has been dormant ever since you fell into that coma.

I ran a hand through my hair, tousles of white curls falling down my back. I took a deep breath and continued to pace my room.

After the procrastination of the idea, I decided to go see Abbi first.

When we had first caught eyes downstairs at breakfast the day before she had seemed very quiet, her personality didn't come to the surface like the others.

She has a good heart. She's nimble on the outside but don't let that fool you.

I could see everyone's very different personalities even Zahalu's, but hers was very quiet and I hope maybe seeing her again will unlock some of my memories where she wasn't so shy.

I didn't know where her room was, which wasn't really an issue, that just gave me time to reflect and explore my new living space.

While I walked through the halls, I don't know why this came to mind, but I thought about my life before any of this happened. Before I came here, before the accident, when I had a family. If I had a family, it haunts me from time to time, to wonder if I belonged to someone, if I was someones somebody.

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw a pastel colored door at the end of the hall. I automatically assumed it was hers due to me and her are the only girls on the team. I approached the door and knocked softly on the brightly colored wood.

It took a few seconds before the door cracked open slightly and a little Abbi stood, by the expression on her face told me she was sort of shocked to see me standing in her doorway.

She opened the door wider, inviting me in and I almost chuckled at how cute her room looked, it was as if it was decorated by a 5 year old, everything was pastel except her wardrobe, it was quite a surprise. She went and sat at her desk, she was an amazing painter, her paintings scattered the walls; forests, very realistic architecture.

"You are very talented.", she didn't say anything, I guess she was just really in her zone. I sat on the edge of her bed, humming quietly.

I snapped out of my doze when she approached me with a note pad and a pen, sitting next to me. She scribbled something on the notepad then handed it to me:

"I don't know how much you remember me, but my name is Abbi, and I am mute, my voice was taken, I'm glad to see you awake."

When I looked up she had already sat down and continued with her work. I walked over and kneeled down "Can I help you with anything?", she looked away from her painting for a moment before snapping her fingers, handing me a glass with dull looking water and pointed to the bathroom, which I then dumped into the sink and replaced it with fresh water, setting it back down on her table.

"I gotta go for right now, but I'll see you at dinner yeah?" she nodded and waved me away with a little smile.

I turned and walked towards the door but froze when I felt two arms wrap around me from behind. I smiled gingerly and when they unraveled I patted her head and left.
