(Picture of Mark)

We walked through the automatic doors, we were in a room that looked completely different from the room I was in. The room was almost pitch black except a dull lamp bulb that made everything it touched in a 5 foot radius visible.

A large metal desk and a large built man sat behind it in a computer chair. He had scars scattered here and there on his neck and arms, which was all I could tell considering he was wearing a shirt, I'm sure he had more underneath. His hair was ruffled, ashy blonde pieces sticking out. He motioned to the chair on the opposite side of the table.

"Kai, please take a seat." I walk over slowly and sit down on the cushioned chair.

"Where am I?"

After a brief moment of silence, he gently pushed a folder in front of me. I looked up at him and he nodded to it.

I gently took hold of the edge and flipped it open to see a dozen of different papers. I flipped through, a different person on each page, and then came across myself. I pulled out the file and it had all of my information on it.

There was a file on top of the rest of the papers that had a picture of me in the corner and to the side of it, it had all the information such as eye color, hair color, skin color, weight, height, etc.

I flipped through a little more and found several different pictures; a girl with blonde braided hair that was tousled in several different places, and she also had the same mark on the top of my arm as I did.

The next picture was of a tall man with black hair and piercing blue eyes, and the same mark on the arm. And the next was of the man in front of me, without the majority of the scars he had now.

A half-wolf like creature was the next on. He was tall and gruesome, my eyes went straight to the risen, pink scar that laid across his muzzle.

The last picture was a picture of all of us together, standing in a very commercial-squad position.

"W-why... What is this?" he folds his hands across his chest. "Kai, you are part of an elite group that is second in command to the council that operates in the watch over the wolf and vampire clans all over North America. In your last mission pieces of shrapnel had lodged themselves in the back of your skull mixed with the extreme blood loss in such a small time period you blacked out you didn't wake up.

The last page I saw a picture of me, I was unconscious on the ground several bruises on my arms and legs along with a few cuts and from the looks of it I had a broken leg. I looked at at him, confused. My throat went dry and I found it hard to swallow.

"But, w-what? I mean. I see the pictures and well. It just doesn't look real. I...I don't remember you what makes you think I should trust you?"

He nods "I hope that once we re-train you and get you adjusted that you will start to collect your memories. But even if you were to resist you won't leave here unsupervised until we've determined that you're unable to remember."

I paused for a minute. Maybe...

Maybe this is for the best to try and regain my memories.

But.

What if my memories are not what I want?

The man's voice broke the silence of the room, "I think it's time for me to show you to your room and where you will be training for the next few weeks." He stood up and walked over to the door that had the emblem of a demon battling a wolf. A shiver shot down my spine and I rubbed my arms.

He pressed his hand on the metal peg on the right side of it and the door opened, and the same blinding white light invaded the darkened room.
