"So, Harry Styles invited you to his party tonight, and you declined?!"
"It sounds as though you're comparing him to something spiritual or god-like, Jamie." I muttered, rolling my eyes sticking my nose closer in the book i was reading. "It was merely a maybe, not a decline."
"Have you seen him and his friends? Have you seen his friend Louis?" Her eyes glisten when she mentions her high school crush. "I hear he has abs."
"I am reading Jamie, and it's getting good."
As if she was hurt, she places her hand over her heart and blinks at me. "Bookmark?"
Jamie had always been so goofy that I laughed out loud. She brings it out in me as well.
During the evening, Jamie and I watched The Originals together. Since she's on the verge of graduation, she does not want to attend a party. She explained her motivations clearly to me.
Hannah, my neighbor and good friend, was invited over. The difference in age between Hannah and me was two years. Her aim was to become a veterinarian while studying at the local community college in Beverly Heights.
She had chickens, two cows, a horse named Long Socks, and an old dog named Buck at her house next to mine.
Five years ago she had moved onto the block, I was a thirteen-year-old little girl trying to make friends, and she so happened to be the most suitable candidate for me.
A gorgeous blonde with crystal blue eyes and waist-length blonde hair, Hannah George was the definition of beauty. A girl who wasn't afraid to admit she was a farmer, she didn't care what people thought. That's what made her beautiful.
"That's because he is! You know what I think?" she said, with a sly smirk on her face.
During her senior year in high school, when she was on her school's cheerleading team, she ran into Harry frequently.
"What?"
"It sounds like this guy might be keen on you from what you tell me." Her country accent jumped out. "You should go."
I exclaimed, "What! Why?". The idea of going to a house party is not my thing. I have never been to one before."
"Because... you'll make friends if you go." She disagreed. "He seems like the type who needs a dragging by the ear, and Spank on the hand a couple times."
My laughter was caused by the reality of the statement.
I frown, because I never got in trouble at school. "How can hanging out with the school's bad boy be good for me?" I ask.
What was she thinking me and Harry Styles being an item. He probably doesn't want nothing to do with being an item.
"I'm sure there's more to him than you think," She said, "mainly them 'bad boys'. What makes him so bad anyway?"
"Literally today, he beat a guy to a pulp, Jeff's nose looked broken, both eyes black, and of course a bloody lip."
"He sounds bad, bad." I added with a sighed, images of what had occurred between the two of us this evening rushing to me.
"What if he's a bad influence on me?"
"I think I can help with that. I have a closet full of cute clothes that I won't be wearing anymore." She chimes.

I shimmied my body into the satin black shirt that glistened under the dimmed lights almost making it sparkle like the stars in the sky. It flowed like the current of a river and formed an hourglass shape and the one strap gave it a sexy yet elegant look. along with black leggings and flats.
When I twirled, it would wrap itself around me for a second and then slowly slide back into place. "I love it."
"You look hot!" She touched my shoulder with her finger and made a sizzle sound. "Now, we gotta do your makeup, make those grey eyes pop."
"Thanks," I giggled and turn back and look at myself in the mirror.
"I could get some curls popping in your hair if you wanted."
"That would be amazing actually, I didn't have much time to do it today." I unravel my hair from it's tight ponytail. Releasing my long brown hair down my shoulders.
"Right on."
It took a minute before she finished my hair, and pulling me by the shoulders to go look in the mirror
"Look at you, you look amazing, sarah!"
I gushed. "I'm honestly so excited!"
"You'll have every head turning when they see you." She mimiced a talk show host, causing me to giggle.
"Thank you, Han!" I give her a tight hug, she was so sweet. I was kind of excited to go to the party now.
"Anything for an old friend. I also have a box of clothes I can give you, if you want. Some of them never even been worn." She smiles at me before fixing her hair in the mirror.
"Absolutely," I nod. I couldn't say no, not with how I was looking tonight.
"Just watch out for those weirdos who like to spoke drinks and steal for drugs." She warns me. "So, do you think he likes you?"
"He asked me on a date, but i said no.. there was this rumor going on that harry and i would be a good match. it sounds so childish, and im thinking hes falling for it, because before he never even looked at me." I shake my head.
"Well, you can find that out tonight, but be careful and text me if you need a ride young lady." she giggles.

The music was as loud as thunder; it made the cutlery on the tabletops rattle. Neon lights flashed everywhere like police sirens, due to someone having a light ball hanging off the top of the ceiling like it was a chandiler.
A lot of people were screaming as someone was drinking out of a Hennessy bottle, and another section was cheering while someone was drinking a ceg of beer upside down.
People were dancing on top of the living room fire, and someone was peeing in the fireplace. Ew.
"You came," A deep voice spoke up from behind me. Making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I turned around, my eyes instantly locking with green ones. A lit cigarette rested in between his smirked lips. His hair was disheveled and hidden slightly beneath a bandana. His eyes travel across my face, I didn't think he would know it was me. "You look beautiful"
My heart begin to thump loudly as I think of something to say to compliment him. the words tumbling out of my mouth. I didn't realize i was blushing. "Thank you, I like your bandana."
He blinks, then curl his lips into a crooked smile, replying, "this old thing?"
"Harry!" Someone hollered from across the house, Harry snaps his head up, spotting them, gave them a smile and one nod. "Hey, I'll catch you later, I've got to do something real quick."
His hand softly press my back before moving pass me, i watched as he moved pass a couple of peole vanishing from my view. I was now alone again, and didn't even know what to do.
