Friday
"Do you think we should sit with Louis and Harry today?" she asked me, "Like would it seem appropriate? it gets lonely when my boyfriend is across the room."
"Sorry I bore you Mrs. Tomlinson, can I interest you in a puppet show?" I sarcastically say.
"I'm sure he will be fine, are you both official yet?" She ask me.
"No." Though it sure did feel like we were.
"You're both so cute." She said with a huge smile on her face. "Do you think he would ask you out again?" I never told anyone about our secret kisses. "He is having dinner with us tonight."
"Really!?"
"Yeah, my mom asked him to join us."
"Are you going to ask him out?" she nudges.
Louis was sitting at a table that was just a few down from me and Jamie's. I wonder why she wasnt sitting with him today? Just after that thought, I seem Louis face lighten up when he looked across the cafe to see Harry enter.
He was wearing his signature all black, but today he had on black boots I liked. His hair was looking extra fluffy today.
"Are you?" She asked again.
"Oh! No, at least I don't think." I said fumbling my apple. "I have been questioning it a lot though lately."
"Ask him." She encouraged.
I scold at her in disbelief, she just looked at me with a big smile on her face. "About what? A date? Or to date? I'm going to get rejected."
"I triple dog dare you to ask Harry Styles out." She said with a smile. "Louis says Harry never felt this way about anyone before. Plus, you hooked Louis and I up, maybe you need a little push."
Our sweet kisses, and the way he talks to me and loves hanging around with me, did make me wonder.
"Okay." I breathe.
I stand from the table and look over at Harry who was now laughing, before throwing something in the air and catching it with his mouth, staring too long his eyes met mine.
I make my way towards him and he rest his arm on the plastic warm rest of the chair, waiting for me.
"Hi," I said awkwardly stopping in front of him.
"Hey."
His eyes were fixed on me. "I've got a personal question." i state.
He was fighting a smile. He stood up from the table, moving past me. I follow behind him, trying to keep up with him, I was slightly nervous, and I looked towards Jamie and she gave me a thumbs up.
He walks out the cafeteria pushing the doors open and I follow behind him, he only turns to face me.
"ask." He playfully strokes my cheek.
"well," I said, trying to prevent myself from stuttering my words. "Jamie said," I breathe, "Jamie said, you and I should become more than- um" his smile slightly disappearing.
"Friends." He finished my sentence.
"Yes, she said that," I said, frowning at myself for stuttering
"More than friends?" He said with a slight frown, he takes a step forward, looking around the hall, to make sure it was clear, before cupping his hand on my cheek, pressing his forehead to mine, His green eyes burning into mine. "I'm not ready, Sarah."
"Shit has been difficult, you know that." He spoke, his eyes looking down at my lips. "But-" he said, softly kissing my jaw, making butterflies form in my stomach. "We can always try something else." He said, and then his lips pressed to mine a little rougher than last night but now the butterflies were flying.
