Chapter 14: Happy Anniversary!

One Year Anniversary;
Spring cleaning the house with great music in the background. My favorite song came up, and one I couldn't resist to sing along!

I stopped singing when I bumped into someone behind me, I turned around quickly and felt my cheeks become hotter than a sauna, I can imagine they are as red as my shirt I was currently wearing, standing behind me was none other than Jimmy Fallon. With his arms folded and an enormous smirk on his face. "How long were you standing there?" I blushed harder looking down at my toes, curling them against the hard wood floors. I heard Jimmy laugh, "Ah long enough!" he said taking a step closer to me, "I was uh..I was just tidying the place...." I said spinning around and walking fast into the kitchen to put cleaning stuff away. "Here I got you these" Jimmy held out a bunch of red roses. I gasped, and also wondered where they came from since he didn't have them in his hand when he was against the wall. "Jimmy, these are gorgeous!" I placed the tip of my nose against them, they held a beautiful scent. Jimmy looked down at me with loving eyes and smiled, "Happy 1 Year anniversary my love!" he said planting a kiss on my lips. "Happy anniversary to you too!" I replied smiling wider.

After sorting the beautiful roses out Jimmy and I sat down on the sofa with my head in his lap looking up to him. "You look so handsome from this angle too" I said quietly, mainly to myself. Jimmy giggled, then my face froze with embarrassment, "did you hear that?" I asked stroking his finger, Jimmy nodded yes and darted his tongue out to lick his lips. "Hey, look at the time!" he said looking at his phone with his spare hand, "I uh. I kinda booked you for a balcony dinner at my place" he blushed, looking down. I smiled wide, "I'll go...if you kiss me!" I teased. Jimmy wasted no time with my request, he made me sit up and tenderly kissed me. He always left me wanting for more. "Right. I'll go get ready then!" I got up and went to my bedroom to get washed and changed.

Jimmy's pov;
I watched her as she walked to her room, I was officially divorced from Nancy. This lady stole my heart, I had a crush on her the moment I met her. I did question myself if this next step would be too much, I pulled a black box out of my jean pocket, she luckily didn't feel it when she was led down. I opened it and stared deeply at the diamond engagement ring I had bought just hours before. I had thought of this moment for so long, I was a nervous wreck inside, but no matter her answer. I will always love her.
