Chapter 18: Celebration and Jimmy's Office

Near the weekend, I was quite happy to be having a drink and spending good time with my lovely Jimmy and Higgins this weekend. This week at work was abit stressful. My boss had me doing all kinds of different things on top of my ordinary duties.

I was just finishing getting myself ready. An engagement celebration is being held tonight on the top floor of Rockefeller. I was really excited to be meeting a few people.

For tonight I picked a white and silver dress, my white heels and some skin coloured stockings, I curled my hair loosely and applied a little eye liner, mascara and lip gloss. I gave myself a once over in the mirror, for once in a long time I felt sexy. Making my way out to the living area where Jimmy was already ready and waiting for me. "Wow" he gasped when he saw me. "It's not too much is it?" I asked nervously, I know tonight was about us and me finally meeting his co-workers and friends, but I didn't want to over dress. "No you look perfect" I could see his eyes wandering up and down my body, and I couldn't help but blush. "You look very handsome too!" I grinned. Jimmy was wearing a shirt with a sweater on top, jeans and a pair of black shoes. Jimmy blushed and then winked, "We ready to go?" Jimmy asked with a chuckle

We arrived at Rockefeller after a 15 minute drive from Jimmy's driver. Jimmy received a text in the car informing him everyone else was already there. We rode the elevator up to the top floor of the building, it was on the roof top. I was quite afraid of heights, but I didn't tell Jimmy about it. The only person who knew was my mom.

I linked arms tightly with Jimmy and my breathing became a bit heavy when the doors opened and we were hit by a breeze as we stepped out. Not surprising, there were a few people here already, all in shirts and jeans and the ladies in dresses. "Are you alright?" Jimmy asked noticing my breathing, well I couldn't hide it now. I would have to tell him. "You're gonna break up with me if I tell you!" I chuckled nervously, Jimmy stopped walking, turned to me and frowned, "What made you say that?" he asked a little bit frustrated. I instantly regret saying what I said and try to move the subject on, "wow there is so many people here" I said looking around, "Y/N tell me what you meant. And stop changing the subject" I could hear the frustration in his voice, "I'm just afraid of heights..." I sighed then rubbed my forehead for sounding like a stupid woman. Jimmy chuckled, and sighed. Maybe of relief? "Its okay to be afraid of heights. But don't worry I won't leave your side I promise" he was such a gentleman. "Thank you" was all I could muster up. I began walking, "And another thing.." Jimmy pulled me back by my wrist, "Please stop saying that I'm gonna break up with you. I dont plan on it, ever. So don't say it anymore" he placed a kiss on my forehead, and I had a big wave of guilt wash over me, "I'm so sorry, I'm gonna ruin this!" I chuckled nervously. Jimmy took my hand in his, "You're doing great!" I loved how he always had this way with words. He could make Spider Soup sound encouraging.

We greeted a few people, Jimmy introduced me to The Roots. I loved those guys! I met Seth Meyers, A.D Miles, Lorne Michaels, the rest of Jimmy's writers, his close friends Tina Fey and Amy. All these women were gorgeous!

Jimmy was in a deep conversation with Lorne, I decided to go to the drink table and get myself a drink, I looked beside me and saw Tina also getting a drink, "Hey! Congratulations to you and Jimmy!" she smiled. "Thank you" I blushed, I was abit shy around new people. "He really loves you, you know!" She said taking a sip of her rum and coke, I looked at her wide eyed, "He does?" I asked in a higher voice than I intended. Tina chuckled, "Yeah absolutely! He talks about you ALL the time. His eyes glisten when he's in love. He lost it when Nancy was around but you've brought his spark back" she winks, I can't help but smile from ear to ear, he makes me feel exactly the same way. "Hey! Not scaring her from me are you Fey?" Jimmy wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my cheek while eyeing Tina, Tina laughs "No of course not. I'm sure she already knows what she is getting herself into!" She winks again.

"Guys I have an announcement!" Lorne stands at the front to get everyone's attention, "We are here tonight to celebrate our best friend Jimmy and his beautiful lady's engagement! I wish you both all the happiness in the world! To Jimmy and the future Mrs Fallon!" everyone cheers and applauds, I turn to Jimmy shyly and place a loving kiss on his lips. "I love you so much" I whisper against his lip, "I love you too! You wanna see my office?" he asks, I nod yes and we head back to the elevator and make our way to his office

His office is pretty impressive, it has a comfy looking couch, a desk with some office supplies, an apple Mac on his desk and empty photo frames besides 4 - Of Winnie and Franny on the wall. "I'm gonna put some new pictures of us in the empty ones" Jimmy says noticing I was looking at the frames. "That sounds great!" I smile at him, he walks towards me and I can see pure lust in his eyes. "First time in an office?" he asks with a wink, I chuckle into his chest, "Yes". I look up at Jimmy and he walks back to the door and securely locks it. Placing his hand between my legs I instantly know where this is heading, first time for everything! This was gonna be one hell of a night!
