Sitting out on Jimmy's balcony listening to gentle love songs in the background. The table had a cloth on it with 2 tall candles lit, 2 wine glasses and a bottle of wine on ice. It was so romantic. For my attire this evening I had decided to wear a short black strapless dress that just passed my bum, black tights and high heel shoes, make-up was basic - a little blush and mascara and a red lipstick. I curled my hair that now fell just above my shoulders.

I noticed Jimmy was taking a while, I decided to head into his kitchen, I stopped still at the doorway and smirked, watching Jimmy singing with a wooden spoon, and another one of my favourite songs. I giggled to myself hearing the words and singing along in my head. I placed a hand over my mouth to stop any giggling noises coming out

We get it almost every night
When that moon is big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose they keep it tight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight

Jimmy stopped singing when he looked at me and blushed, "alright, how long were you standing there?" he blushed again and chuckled, "not long" I lied. Jimmy raised an eyebrow, "you're lying!" he chuckled, "dinner is ready" he cleared his throat and began dishing dinner out

At the table I had noticed Jimmy was acting very nervously, I had a strong intuition, I had hoped he had not become distant again. Also watching Jimmy closely, I had noticed he was picking at his food with his fork. "This is delicious" I said taking a mouthful of rice. Jimmy had cooked us chicken, rice and a delicious garlic and tomato sauce. Jimmy nodded and smiled, placing his fork on the side of the plate and taking a sip of wine. "What's going on? You were all bubbly earlier and you haven't said a word to me since we sat down" I let out a sigh. I couldn't help but wonder again if he was getting fed up with me, was always a feeling I got when someone was weird with me. "I'm just nervous" he finally answered. I felt a little relief he wasn't annoyed at me again. "About what?" I asked him taking small sips from my wine, Jimmy was never a nervous man, he was the complete opposite.

"It's just. I have something very important to ask you" his hands begins to shake as he stands up and walks to me, "Since I met you at Higgins party, I had a crush on you, then we entered into a beautiful relationship, but I don't want you to be my girlfriend anymore"

I looked up to Jimmy completely shocked and shattered, I felt my heart explode.

"Wh...why Jimmy? What did I do wrong? Tell me what I did, if I do something that annoys you I'll stop! Please don't do this" tears were streaming down my face, I couldn't hold them back any longer, through my blurred vision I could see Jimmy smirking. What the hell. Was this a joke to him?

"Eliza, if you had let me finished what I was saying, you wouldn't be worked up" he said looking down at me. I wiped my tears away and got myself under control. "What do you mean?" I asked trying not to break down again.

Jimmy got down on one knee, pulled out a block box from the inside pocket of his jacket, and looked me straight in the eyes. "I'm saying I don't want you as my girlfriend because I want you as my....wife" he says as he opens the box and reveals a gorgeous diamond ring. "Eliza, will you marry me?" he holds the box out in front of me, I can't believe I overreacted. Something I've got to work on! "Yes of course I will!" I grin removing the current ring on my wedding finger off and placing it on my right finger with the other ring. Jimmy slides the engagement ring onto my wedding finger and I lean in and kiss him deeply, "I love you so much!" I say pulling away still smiling. "I love you too! Lets go show each other just how much!" he winks taking my hand and leading me inside.

I can't believe I get to be one of those people who can officially plan a wedding! I already decided who to ask to walk me down the aisle. I was positive he would say yes.
