We sat down to eat, I decided to cook dinner this evening. Just some pasta and a sauce. Jimmy seemed very happy, he made some plans with his best pals Justin Timberlake and Drew for a night out next weekend. Since his mood was so great, I thought it would be the best time to tell him the hopefully great news.
"So I went to your doctor today" I started to make conversation
"Oh yeah! How did it go? It's the flu right?" he asked taking a mouthful of pasta
"Hmm not quite" I smiled, "He says I'm pregnant" my smile was wider, until I saw his expression
"How did this happen?" he asked not looking up at me
"Well Jimmy, it involved me and you at your office that night, probably, possibly since we didn't have sex after that"
"But... How...why..whoa This is big" he stood up and began pacing the room
"Are you happy?" I asked also standing up and placing my hands on the table
"I uh... I don't know you know?" he chuckles nervously, "I'm uh.. I'm gonna go get some air... I'll uh.... Be back later... Maybe.. Don't wait up" he grabbed his jacket and headed out the door
"Jimmy!" I yelled after him, but he kept walking without looking back. "Shit!" I ran my fingers through my hair and sat down in a chair
Well that went well, I thought to myself placing a hand on my tummy.
