Chapter 16: Waking Up And Making Plans

I was awake earlier than I would normally wake up unless it was a weekday, and in a really good mood. I lifted my head slightly to look at the nightstand as the clock read; 06:12. I looked besides me and saw a beautiful man fast asleep with his mouth open slightly and sounds of snoring was heard, he was covered from the waist down with his hands resting on his tummy. I smiled to myself greatly. If I was lucky enough to spend the rest of my life looking at this every morning, then my life was complete.

I yawned once and gently got out of bed, it was never a good idea to be naked and wake up early because his apartment was absolutely freezing.

Putting on fresh underwear and a matching bra, I slipped into my grey sweatpants and a fleece hoodie, ahh so much warmer! I thought to myself quietly making my way out of the bedroom.

I lit the fire in the living area and sat in front of it warming up my hands. I saw Jimmy walk out of the bathroom and walk towards me "Hey good morning" I said placing a kiss on his lips as he sat next to me also in his grey sweatpants and t-shirt. "Good morning beautiful!" I chuckled, "Don't you ever feel cold?" Jimmy chuckled also, "Every morning" he replied in a raspy voice, here was my chance! "Have you thought about putting carpet down everywhere? Its alot warmer than hard woods. Obviously" I smiled to him. He rubbed a finger on his chin while he thought about my question, "well it's not a bad idea" he winked then turned serious "Hey you wanna go look for carpet today?" he asked with a smile on his face. My face lit up, "Can we drop by Higgins house before or afterwards? I want to tell him" I held up my wedding finger "I also have something to ask him" I smirked. "Yeah sure! Well let me make breakfast and we can make a day of it. Do some shopping too" he smiled.

"Sounds perfect" I said raising my knees to my chest. I was excited to tell Higgins and ask him. Couldn't wait to see his expression!
