Hazelpaws heart lurched as she caught the scent of a Snowclan cat. Digging her sharp claws into the earth to keep quite she stalked up to the smell. Then she saw him. A dark brown shaggy furred apprentiance. Very skinny. His ribs showed as he prowled agianst the rocky terrain.

She then spotted a other Snowclan apprentiance by his side. She was a silver tabby she cat. And she was also very skinny. "Get off of our territory." She snarled the mouse he was stalking squealed and ran. Both apprentiances looked back startled. "No! Our clan needs to be feed. 2 kits already died. Im taking after my clan. Even if you kill me." The tom took a step back.

Hazelpaw sighed. As she felt sad... And then angry. "Leafbare is almost here. And when that happens there is only rabbits. And its scarce." The she cat pleaded. "Its agianst the warrior code. So i will have to drive you off of our territory." Hazelpaw snarled.

Both cats got in battle stances and stalked her. "Very well. We will take prey and you will run in defeat." The she cat chuckled. She unsheathed her claws and leapt at Hazelpaw. Hazelpaw quickly leapt out of the way and jumped on her back. She dug her claws in her neck. She was thrown off as she felt sharp claws dig into her hind leg.

She skidded agianst the ground and got up. She flattened her ears and let out a snarl. The tom took a swipe at her shoulder and sent her down with a powerful blow. As she fell her heart thudded. She was a inexperienced apprentiance.

She got up but was sent back down. She heaved a heavy blow of her paw at the toms eye. He yowled and flung backwards. She leapt to her paws feeling her muscles tense. She straightened her paws and flattened her ears. Pelting into the she cat she rammed into her side.

She tumbled over out of breath. She glanced at the tom and saw his eye with large claw marks running through his left eye. He got up slowly. "Now!" He hissed. Hazelpaw felt her heart leap as she was pulled to the ground. The she cat chuckled and swiped her claws down her chest.

Than out of the corner of her eye she saw Sunpelt and Riverstone running down the rocky terrain. A cold shiver went down her back as she felt the claws dig deeper. Twisting she kicked the apprentiance up. Sunpelt tackled her and dragged her by the scruff.

I wish i was that strong! She thought. Charging for the tom she raked her claws down his back. He yowled and scrambled to get away. He ran to his own territory along with the she cat. "Thats the last Snowclan cat ill see in our territory." Riverstone sneered.

Hazelpaws leg tingled as the blood leaked down to her pads. "Lets get you to Owltail." Sunpelt nudged her shoulder. "Im fine. I think. It doesent hurt." Much she added to herself.

"Well. We should still get you to Owltail." Riverstone commented. "Fine." Hazelpaw mumbled. Than all thoughts rushed into her mind. "The leap?" She said aloud. "What?" Sunpelt snapped. She was short tempered. "N-nothing..." She meowed.

They arrived in camp and Crowpaw quickly nudged her into the medicne cat den. "Lay, in the nest." He pointed with his tail tip to the mossy nest. Hazelpaw padded into the nest and curled up.

Crowpaw grabbed moss and cobweb. He applied the moss onto her belly quickly as the water made her fur quickly damp. She let out a low hiss as the pain started to get worse. "Your fine. Nothing to worry about. Just a few scratches." Owltail meowed as she exaimined her wounds.

"You should be fine. But you better go Bearclaw is waiting." "But is hurts." Hazelpaw groaned. Crowpaw rolled his eyes and nudged her to her paws with his head. "Your fine."
