"Ok your in the job" I smiled as the manager of the store said.

"Thank you sir haha." I thanked the man and he gave the details of what I should wear to work and when is my shift.

The pay is ok for a part time job.

Well...working at this convenience store is not all that bad.

___Friday 12.25pm__

12.30pm...is my shift today.

My ever first one.

I better make a good impression.

I walk into the store with my uniform on and I was greeted with the sound of clinging windchimes.

Then after that I was greeted again by a guy at the counter who looks like he's in his 20s.

"Why hello! You must be the new kid that the boss was talking about! Nice to have you here haha!" He gave me a big wave with a wide smile. Is he always this bubbly at work?

"Keep it down will ya Jason!" The guy to my right who was sweeping the floor called out to him.

Oh so the bubbly guy's name is Jason.

Jason stick his tongue out to the other, and he looks pissed.

"Please don't mind this grumpy guy." He whispered, pointing at him with his thumb with a smile so bright it blinds me.

"So, whats your name friend?" He asked with a smile again.

"Uh..Hayden." I hope I don't sound too nervous.

"Oh cool name! Today you'll be taking over my shift." This Jason guy don't seem that he can stop smiling.

Before he took off he teached me how to work the cash register and stuff.

After that he left with a goodbye wave and a continuous smile.

All was going well till I met the grumpy guy's eyes.

Awkward...

I looked away, afraid that he would yell at me.

I can't help myself to look back and saw him still looking at me. With a death glare, like i killed his family or something.

"You better not irritate me.." He grumbled with his piercing bright green eyes rolling at me.

First day in the job and I already have an enemy -_-".

_Shift just ended_
Friday 6.30pm

Hahhh I'm done finally..

I walked to the staff room to get my stuff when I bumped into someone tall.

"Ah I'm so sorry!" I apologized.

I looked up and saw a pair of bright green eyes looking down on me. They look so nice up close and he smelled kinda nice. He wore a thick dark blue jacket. I blushed.

"Move." He said with his husky voice.

Why is he so grumpy??? =A=

I got out of his way. He bumped on my shoulder and made his way to the exit. What a rude person! How did he even get in this job with being this grumpy? QAQ

I got my things ready and start to head off too.

_Walking home_
Friday 6.45pm

Its kinda cold. I should've bought a hoodie like that meanie.

I heard a distant meowing nearby. A cat? I looked around to find the cat to pet.

The sound was coming from the road next to me.

Kitty. Its on the road...and a car is coming

Im too far from it I can't save it in time!

Oh god please someone!

I saw a person nearby bolted for the kitten. Saving it...right on time.

What a kind heart...

He had light brown hair and a dark blue jacke-
