"You don't even go to the same school as him."
"Oh no. 6 hours a day away from him. However will I handle it?"
Mother Dunbar couldn't help but smile slightly at her daughters sarcasm. This wasn't what she dreamed, but what she wanted. Her bickering children back under the same roof again. But she only wished she had more time for who took who's game or who got to have her read to them next, not whether their date was worthy of them or not."It's just been one date." Zanna looked down at her phone, tapping away again.
"Who are you texting?" Her mother looked in the review mirror, as Zanna's head shot up.
"No one."
"It's Brett, isn't it?" Liam picked up straight away."And if it is?"
"He's bad news. If you think I'm letting you go near him again, you're seriously mistaken."
"Too late for that." She mumbled but Liam's new superhearing meant he knew exactly what she said.
"What?" He asked her."We have a study date tonight." She told him sheepishly.
"He's coming to pick me up after school. We're getting takeaway after." Liam looked like his eyes were about to budge out of his head.
"You're going out with him again?""Well, this one isn't official. The one on Saturday is though."
"Really?"
"Yes really. Why is it so hard to accept that I like him?" Zanna was begging her brother to let her in on this secret, why he had this hatred against the boy who could make her smile in a few words."Because I used to go to school with him. I know him, Zanna."
"And he could've changed. I don't know the person you knew, but I like the Brett I know. You need to learn it's my life Liam, and although I appreciate your input and regards for my feelings, at the end of the day it's still my decision. So unless you can give me some valid reason, like he's a mass murderer, then I'm going on another date with him." It was perfect timing that his mother pulled into the school, Zanna opening the door and pulling herself out of the car before her brother could say anything else on the subject.Theia shut her locker but jumped when she found someone behind her.
"Jesus Christ you scared me." She told him.
"How do you apologise to a girl?" He asked.
"Well, you did keep her from knowing who her biological father was. She must be pretty mad." She told Stiles.
"Now you're just stating the obvious.
"Well I wouldn't forgive you."
"Thanks, that gives me great reassurance."
"Sorry, you're not exactly asking the best person here. I've never had a best friend, never mind a boyfriend." Theia reminded him.
"But you're a girl, I thought all girls new about these things."
"Stiles, nearly everyone in the Supernatural world gets shudders at my code name. And Malia's a Werecoyote for God's sake so why on earth do you think we're like other girls?" Theia asked as his mind suddenly went over her logic.
"I'll think of something." He brushed off her comment. She began to walk away when he grab her arm:
"Wait, Sc-"
"Let me go or lose the hand." she said through gritted teeth as he quickly pulled away her restrainment for her to turn towards him."By the way, Scott told me to tell you, we've got a plan and we were hoping Raven could help us."
"Got it. What are we doing?"
"Well the Benefactor wants proof that someone is dead, right?"
"Right." She nodded.
"Then he's going to have to come to us for proof."
"So, what are we doing to get him to come for proof?"
"We're going to kill Scott."
"What?!" Theia exclaimed a little loudly, her eyes widening.
"Relax. He's not actually going to be dead. He's just going to be in a death-like sleep."
"Who are we, Maleficent?"
"No. We're teenagers trying to catch the employer of mass murders." He reminded her.
"This is crazy." She remarked.
"But if it works," Stiles reminded her
"We'll have the Benefactor playing right into our hands."
