Celeste's POV
I ran down the street, my angry father hot on my tail. All of the sudden, my knee popped, and I collapsed.
"Shit!" I swore and looked to see my father running towards me. As he got close I got up and started limping, he yanked me by my hair and smacked me. In the middle of the street. Somebody saw, and called the police. My father was arrested and I was bleeding.
The police officer had me sit in a different car while he cuffed my father.
"Do you have anywhere else to go?" he asked.
I nodded. "Yes, but I'm not sure if they'll allow me to stay with them."
"Who are they?" He said
"They call themselves The Crystal Gems"
