Celeste's POV
I woke up the next morning to Pearl poking my cheek.
"Mmph.." I said, rolling away from her.
"Celeeeeste" She said, poking my side.
I flinched and swatted her hand away.
"It's time to wake up"
I groaned and sat up, rubbing my eyes and grabbing my glasses. "What time is it?"
Pearl looked up. "Oh, a bit after 6."
"6?!"
"Yes. 6. And you have to get up so we can help you fuse!"
I sighed and sat up, stretching, before getting up and walking downstairs with pearl.
"Good morning, Sleepyhead." Garnet said.
I yawned. "Hi Garnet."
We talked a bit until it was time to start dancing.
The gems (not including Steven) demonstrated and I followed along. I fell over a few times and somehow tripped over the couch, until I started getting the hang of it. Soon, my gem began to glow. The gems beamed with happiness.
"Um, is it supposed to be doing this?" I said, gesturing to my gem.
Amethyst laughed. "It means you're ready to fuse!"
"Oh! So.. um. Am I going to be fusing today?" I asked.
Pearl shook her head. "We're going to save that for another day."
I nodded, and went upstairs to my room where I used my keyboard to practice some music.
