Jacob releases my hand after the spell he cast and we stand in a deserted forest its night I run my hands through my hair out of frustration " TALK " I demand of his and brace myself for whatever he is going to say.














I sit on the dirty ground and Jacob flicks his wrist and a little fire burns around us as he sits besides me.

" In the 1900's there was a blood line knows as the Petrova they was the most powerful humans in the world there blood was special to witches and very harmful to Vampires the girls of the Petrova bloodline was harvested once they reached the age of 21 and mainly they was killed by Vampires because of how much of a threat they posed " He pauses his green eyes studying me 

" Go on " I basically whisper 

" You are the last Petrova or ... was when you was Human why do you think your farther didn't want you mixing with the Vampires he knew you was special the only person that didn't was you " He pauses and my mind flashes back to my Human life 















" Nathan knew you was a Petrova and that's why he never wanted you turned why do you think he fought so hard to keep you alive Human ? why do you think he killed your farther ? he didn't turn you himself did he ? it was his sister why do you think he offered you this the first time around " Jacob says producing the small vile containing the Cure 

" But He-I " I can't seem to for a sentence as my mind whirls and then everything Jacob is saying makes sense I turn away from him as I swipe the tears under my eyes 

" I'm not saying he didn't love you he clearly does now that's obvious but back then you was simply going to be the last Petrova sacrifice sure his feelings would have grown when you became a Vampire but I just thought you should know your history that he never planned on sharing with you " Jacob says and his green eyes stare at me in the dim light from the fire 

















" But he never forced me to take the Cure back then he asked me " I say trying to find some good out of the situation 

" That's because once you became a Vampire you was no longer a threat sure he would have wanted to keep you Human as a bargaining tool to sacrifice the Last Petrova but once you was in transition you was useless anyway and then he probably developed all that hearts and flowers and fluffy rainbow feeling shit however fact is fact " He says placing the Cure back in his inside leather jacket pocket 

" So why are you telling me this ? " I ask Jacob my gaze meeting his and he shrugs 

" He was never gonna tell you thought it was your right to know the truth after all this time " He says and I believe him as fucked up as it all sounds its true I believe him













" Take me home " I whisper and Jacob nods holding out his hand 

" We need to get out of New Orleans anyway they'd happily force feed you the Cure but I'm not gonna let that happen " He says I take his hand and we vanish

Nathans Pov . . . . . .

I have drank 5 bottles of scotch its been nearly one week no one has been able to track Mandy and Jacob I know the bomb he is about to drop on her about the whole Petrova line but I did want to tell her so many times so many nights I lay awake with her in my arms I just couldn't I fell for her she is my life.

The boarding house is empty and I hear heels tapping against the floor I lift my head slowly and see Mandy with her face sad empty emotionless and anger " Mandy I-" I begin but she walks over and slaps my face hard 

" You bastard all this time " She says and I sink to my knees in front of her and hug her around her legs 

" I wanted to tell you but none of it matters I love you so much " I sob but she steps out of my hold and screams 

" It matters and you know it " She screams and it rips apart my fucked up heart 

" I'm leaving. leaving you do not follow me ever or so help me god I will rip your heart out " she says and zooms to the bedroom I beg and plead with her but she ignores me and closes her eyes No.

" Don't " I say at what I know she is about to do when she opens her eyes she smiles an evil smile 

" There now I feel nothing " She says as she flips off her humanity she smashes a lamp and stabs it into my stomach before zooming with her cases out of the house.

I sit drinking glass after glass at the loneliness takes over every inch of me I hurl the glass causing it to cause a loud smash on the wall.

" Oh looks like someones having a bad night " I hear and turn my head slowly to see Jacob standing in the doorway my face cracks with anger and pure adrenaline courses through every cell in my body.

Jacobs Pov. . . . .

" Are you really that dumb to come here ? tonight of all the times " Nathan says and zooms at me 














He rapidly punches me over and over and I have to admit his strength overwhelms me for a moment 

" She is gone and its all your fault you did this and now you are gonna pay " He says before plunging his hand into my chest cavity and wrapping his hand around my heart " One little twist " He snarls and my hand reaches into the inside pocket of my leather coat before I produce the small vile and jam it into his mouth crushing it making him drink it and forcing him to swallow it I see the fear in his eyes as he slumps to the ground next to me.















" Have a nice Human life Nathan " I say as I zoom out of the boarding house leaving my twin brother and the cure to Vampireism Ingested.
