It's been 40 minutes of just Ben and Bell laying there in silence. Nothing was said because nothing was needed. Bell daringly and slowly looked over towards the inked man laid beside her. His mouth was slightly open and little deep breathes were coming out, his mysterious eyes are closed and Bell came to the conclusion that he was asleep. Bell thought about her options now: she could get the key from around his neck and make a break for it, but what would that do? I bet her Mum hasn't even notice her daughter is missing. She's probably happy; after all, it's Bells fault her Dad left home without contact information. Bell decides it's now or never. She slowly leans on her inside arm and faces Ben.

Ben had taken his top off so they key is laid on Ben coloured chest calling Bells name. As she reaches to grab the key from around his neck Ben starts to move. Bell has to think quickly. What to do?

This is not what it is, only baby scars,

I need your love like a boy needs his mother's side

Bell sang again quietly over and over. This seemed to work as Ben lay still as a dead fish. She flipped the key chain over his head onto the black bed sheets behind him. Then she pulled it so the last bit of chain came out from under his head.

She's done it, she has the chain. Without looking back Bell sprints to the door down the corridor. She hasn't made much noise so Ben won't have been woken up, she reaches the door and her pale hand shake as she tries to put the key in the hole.

Bingo!

She swings the brown door open and smells the fresh air that hits her pale skinny face.

Bell is snapped out of her thoughts by a small sound coming from where Bell has just left. Once again, without looking back she sprints. This time is different, this time she sprints for freedom and not a brown wooden door.

"Oi, where do you think you're going?" Ben shouts from behind her.

Bell keeps running but she forgot one vital piece of information: she hasn't eaten in a few days so she has very little energy.

Very rapidly her speed starts to slow and she finds herself panting like she has run for 3 days or so.

She hears footsteps behind her getting closer and louder.

Bell lets out a deafening scream as an arm wraps itself around her petit waist. She's not scared because she knows now she'll never go back outside; she's scared because of the punishment awaiting her back at the shack. Ben will never trust her so now her life is only to get much much worse.

Ben threw Bell at the dark hard wall in the basement; he was furious at her. He fell at her feet when she was most venerable and she used him. "Why would you do that?" He yells only centre-metres from her pale shaking scared face.

Bell doesn't need to think about it much; she already knows the answer-sort of. "I...I d..don't know" she whimpers.

Ben lets out a small laugh. "You don't know? Ha! I suggest you better start talking about your life or I will not be giving you food anytime soon!" Ben yells at her.

Bell lets out a very small laugh; does he really think she cares if he doesn't feed her? If anything that will be good for her. Bell doesn't want the food, she hasn't wanted it for a good few months but she won't ever tell anyone. She will eat in front of her Mum when they are around each other on evenings so she doesn't worry. She may be a bad mother but she will make sure her daughter is looking after herself as best she can. Not just for Bells sake but for her own because it means she doesn't have to do it herself.

"Why are you laughing now?" Ben yells again, stopping Bell going into flashbacks or deep thoughts.

"Because." Bell replies bluntly.

"Because what?" Ben starts to get louder as his patients runs out.

"If you look over there the food you gave me earlier is yet to be eaten. You think I'll care if you don't feed me? I won't, it'll make it better, as you can see I don't need to food so why don't you have it for yourself? I don't know why I ran thinking about it now, it was stupid and a heat of the moment thing I guess. I'm just going to stay here for the rest of my time because I like it; no one bothers me." Bell yells back whilst standing up and bringing herself closer to Ben so now their whole bodies were about 1 inch away from contact. Bell's thick dark brown messy hair is sticking to her pale face and her green eyes have shown colour and emotion for the first time in months. Ben's hair was copying Bells hair by sticking to his slightly more tanned face and his eyes showed the same amount of colour they always have except this time they have a little hint of lust.

Both bodies were panting with anger. Both pair of eyes are never going to back down. Ben moved his tight hands to the back of Bells head where it meets her neck and pulled both their foreheads together. Sparks sprinted round each sweaty body but each of them would never admit it, they don't know the other person has the same effect. Both of them started to calm down after around five minutes. But what Ben did next surprised Bell a lot more than she thought would be possible.
