EZRAS POV:
I got her an ice pack and helped her inside. she sat on my couch. "now are you going to tell me what happened?" "we were arguing and he told me he couldn't trust me because I told him everything. I told him not to hurt you and I didn't care what he did to me. I said I'd stay with him if he was willing but my feelings aren't going to change for you. i just couldn't let him hurt you Ezra. I can't. He said I was a liar about what I did with you and you weren't only a work partner and stuff." "he hit you?" "I'm sorry I dumped this all on you tonight. it's so late and I'm just I I don't-" "Shhh shh. calm down. come with me." I helped her to my room. "Ezra what if he comes back?" "you don't worry. just lay down. You're safe." I said as I leaned her back and wrapped her in the blankets. I wiped her tears away. I held the ice pack for a moment. "if you need me here's the home phone I'll lay it next to you." I grabbed my jacket off the chair in the room and ran out the front door. "Ezra where are you going? Please don't leave. Ezra he's still around in town. Don't leave me!" I heard her yell as I left. I drove to the hotel and ran up the stairs and banged on the door. he opened. "you hit women now!? what the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled as I pushed him and shut the door. he pushed me back. I thought about arias eye and how much she cried. I threw a punch. I give it my all and saw him fall back he laid there on the ground. "you better be gone tomorrow or I swear I'll do worse. touch her again and I'll kill you." "Is that a threat Ezra?" "no it's a promise." I walked out and drove home. I walked in my room to seeing Aria still awake sitting up against the headboard crying. "Why.. why are you still up?" I asked. "I can't sleep when you're not here." "Then I'll be here." I said walking towards the bed. I took off my shoes. and my jacket and laid on the other side of the bed. "Ezra?" I heard her little voice shake. "hold me?" I smiled to myself. I rolled over and scooted closer to her. I wrapped my arms around her small body. she turned her face towards me. "thank you for letting me stay here." "always." I whispered .
