Chapter 24: new history

ARIAS POV:
there was a knock on the door. I put in my last earring and saw a tall man standing there. I could smell his cologne. his precious green eyes that I get lost in. I lit up. "you ready to go?" he smiled. I locked the door and he took my hand and led me to his car. he opened my door. he's such a gentleman. we got to the restaurant and we sat down. we ordered and we talked. "look we've been through a lot these past few months. but some how we made it here. you want rules, I want rules so let's lay them out." "okay.. well I don't want you dating anyone besides me." he laughed "yeah me too. so we're together?" "we're together." I smiled. he held my hand across the table and just smiled for awhile staring. I don't know why I felt so shy with him staring at me like that. it's just I haven't felt that look in awhile. our food came. we eat and left.

EZRAS POV:
I can't rush this. I don't want to mess it up. I need to make sure when and if I do propose it's perfect. just like her. I need her friends advice and my friends. I need to ask her father as well.  I walked her to her door. "dinner was great." "It was." I said holding her hand I smiled. "wanna come inside?" she smirked. she pulled me in and I shut the door behind me. as soon as I turned around she pulled my face to hers. she jumped and wrapped her legs around my waist still kissing me. I walked her to her bed and laid her down gently still kissing her unbuttoning my shirt.

When I woke up I looked over and the sunlight hit her face just perfectly. in that moment God I knew I wanted this, I wanted us forever. I got up quietly from the bed. I wrote her a small note and placed it on her nightstand. I kissed her cheek and left.

ARIAS POV:
I woke up but I didn't want to open my eyes I reached over to feel Ezra. he wasn't there. I opened my eyes and shot up. I walked out into the kitchen and living room. he was no where to be found. I walked back in my room and saw a note sitting on my night stand. I sat on my bed and picked it up. "sorry had to get to work, I'll see you later. - Ezra" I sighed and decided to get ready and go to work myself.

EZRAS POV:
"hey Hanna I know this is weird and early but is there anyway you could come in today? I need to talk to you. I know spencer flew out last night and I know Alison's busy dealing with cece and I haven't heard from Emily but is there any way you could? It's about Aria." "sure I'll be there in a few. coffees on you. oh and I like blueberry muffins." I laughed "I'll make it happen." Hanna walked in the brew we sat. before she could talk I took out the ring and set it on the table. I got it resized and changed a little. what do you think?"

"oh my god.. Your your going to propose..?" I nodded. "Yes! I think she'll love it. When are you going to do it?" "in a few days. I plan on having everyone there. I just need to talk to her parents. but more importantly I need to make sure she's ready. I don't want to scare her away. I just need a sign then I'll do it." "Ezra I don't know how long it'll take. she's scared to even be with you. she doesn't want to lose you again. you'll figure it out. I gotta go. Thanks for the muffins and the coffee." she left then next thing I knew Aria walked in. she spotted me and walked over to me. "I'm on lunch break wanna get some lunch?" "absolutely, I just need to get my jacket from my office." I got my jacket and we walked down the street. "so where do you wanna eat?" "Ezra.. oh my god. snookers." I smiled as she took my hand and led me in. she went and sat at the bar. I followed. "I'll be right back." I said. I walked over to the juke box and turned it on. B26. I sat back down as she ordered us cheeseburgers. I had flashbacks of the day we met.

"I'd like to know more about you." "yeah, I'd like to know more about you too." I smiled to myself as I looked at Aria. the song started. her eyes lit up. "Ezra? you didn't. b26." she smiled at me. I whispered the lyrics to her in her ear resting my hand on her thigh. the song ended. "I'm going to the bathroom. wanna join me?" she smirked. I placed her on the sink like I once did and just smiled at her existence before kissing her. we left snookers and started walking around. "look at those kids. They all look happy. I want that." "yeah they have a beautiful family, don't they?" "well not as beautiful as ours will be." I stopped in my tracks. "what?" she asked. "nothing nothing. I'll walk you to your car." I opened her door and kissed her goodbye. I knew that was my sign that she was ready. i went into my office. I just couldn't stop thinking about the rest of our lives together. before I knew it, it was late. "hey wanna come over?" Aria texted me. "can't working late sorry, rain check?" I responded. I went home and started thinking how am I going to make this the best day of her life. how would she want to be proposed? I called Ella around 10. "I'm sorry, I know it's kinda late. I need to talk to you and Byron."
