•Amy POV•
"Look what I found!" Anne called from the attic. "What is it sweetie?" I asked her. Anne slowly climbed out of the attic and handed me an old picture.
"What's this?" I blew off some dust and gasped. "Sonic! Sonic get in here!" I yelled at him. Loud stomps came running down the hallway to me. "What's wrong? Who's hurt?!" He asked loudly. "No ones hurt, but look what Anne found!" I showed him the picture and he cocked his head to the side.
"It's a picture of us. So what? We have tons." He said in confusion. "What?! You don't remember this day?!" I gasped at him. Sonic shrugged, but when he saw my hurt expression his own expression changed.
"I-I mean... Of course I remember! That was the day we..." I narrowed my eyes at him and tapped my foot. Anne, who was clinging to my hip, narrowed her eyes as well. "Daddy, you shouldn't lie to Mommy. When Flash lied to Mommy he get in trouble. You don't wanna get in trouble with Mommy."
"Ain't that the truth..." I heard him whisper.
I continued my glare at Sonic as he tried to figure out a way out of this. "It was the day we... Uh... Had our first kiss?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Ugh! Men! It was the day you got me a very special present." I told him, hoping it would be enough of a clue.
"Oh! Yeah! I got you that... Thing." He grinned. I sighed at him. "Whatever... Come on, Anne, let's go play with your dolls." I smiled at her. Anne smiled a big open mouthed grin. "Yay!"
"Wait! Ames, come back! I'm sorry I forgot!" He called behind me.
"One second, Anne. Mommy has to talk to Daddy."
"Okay. Good luck Dad!"
I turned around and faced Sonic. I could see in his eyes he was wishing he had a better memory. He gulped as I got nose to nose to him. "A-Ames?" He blushed and said my name nervously.
"That day was the first time you ever showed the slightest interest in me. It was the day we talked about certain things. It was the day you got me a very special seashell jewelry set."
Sonic nodded. "Oh! I-I remember now! I promise!" I raised an eyebrow at him. "I swear, Ames. It was pretty pale pink seashells. We talked about how we liked each other, but we never said we loved each other. Then I got you that ice cream and we shared it together when the others left."
I kept my eyes narrowed as I backed up. "Mommy! You coming?!" Anne called.
"On my way!" I called back and left Sonic in the hallway.
