Korra and the Krew entered Republic City's Police Department. Korra couldn't believe that Mako was sent to jail. There had to be something, Mako would never murder anyone. He's not that person.

"I want to speak with Mako!" Korra shouted at the officer sitting in the counter.

"Now Avatar Korra, you can't just come in here shouting at people and telling them what to do." The officer said.

"I'll handle it Korra." Tenzin said putting his hand on Korra's shoulder. "Please... She wants to see him. He must be framed! He would never kill anyone. Can you just let her see him?" Tenzin asked.

The man was quiet for a moment. He puffed and said,"Okay fine...I'll see what I can do." The officer said as he got up and walked to the door.

"You have to find out what happened Korra. He wouldn't do such a thing." Asami said.

Korra nodded her hand and the officer came back. He allowed 2 people to go, but one at a time. Korra went inside the door where seats sat for people to sit on. Korra sat down and waited. She looked up and out came Mako in those jail get ups. They sat Mako in front of Korra and he didn't look at her, he was silent.

"Mako...You have to tell me... What happened last night?"Korra questioned.

Mako stayed silent. Everyone had accused him of being a murder, like it mattered anymore what came out his mouth.

"Like it matters...." Mako said.

"What do you mean it doesn't matter?! Mako I can help you get outta here!" Korra pleaded.

"People are accusing me of murder... What if I leave outta here? They will look at me with disgust!" Mako said.

"Mako, if you tell me I can prove your innocence!" Korra said.

Mako let out a puff and began telling Korra what happened at last night's events. She understood and she told Mako that she will prove him innocent. It was Korra's time to go and let another person to enter.

"Can you send Bolin? Please?" Mako said as she left the room.

"Mako wants to see you.." Korra said to Bolin.

Bolin sighed and said,"okay.." He entered the room and sat in front of Mako. They were both silent. Bolin couldn't believe Mako would do such a thing and Mako, he couldn't look at his brother. He couldn't explain what happened to Bolin. The words couldn't come out his mouth. He was ashamed to be in this position, he didn't even do anything. Mako had to say something, he couldn't just sit in silence for the time being until Bolin had to leave.

"Bolin." "Mako."

They both said their names simultaneously. They stayed quiet again until Bolin spoke his mind to Mako.

"Mako... It's all my fault! If I hadn't left and left you alone, you wouldn't have made that decision." Bolin said.

"Bolin.. I didn't kill him! How could you think I killed an old man?" Mako questioned.

"Mako.. I don't know what to believe anymore. You've told countless lies to me, I don't know wether or not to believe you right now..." Bolin said.

Bolin knew this was painful to tell his brother. Mako couldn't believe those words and he just sat there quiet. They both sat in silence again. Mako just wanted to go back to the jail cell and lay in that bed for the rest of his life.

"Bolin... I didn't kill the man... Someone else did." Mako said as he left the room back to his jail cell.

Bolin just sat there, hands in his head. (Who could've it been? Why would they kill the old man for?) Bolin asking himself these questions. He stood up and headed for the door, back to the Krew. Tenzin told Bolin that Korra went and tried to look for any clues to get Mako out of there.

Tenzin, Asami, and Bolin made their way back to Air Temple Island. Tenzin said he had to go and see how Pema was doing with Rohan. He said good bye and walked away. Asami started walking until she realized that Bolin was making his way down to the beach. She followed him and was hoping Bolin wouldn't see her.

Bolin sat down on the sand. He felt the nice summer breeze on him. Bolin liked to lay down on the beach and just listen to the noise of the waves against the sand.

"Bolin... What are you doing?" Asami questioned.

"What?" Bolin said as he got up. "Oh.. Hey Asami.." Bolin said trying to make a smile. "I was just laying here, wanted to get my mind clear of all this craziness..." Bolin said looking down.

"Oh.. I know with what's happening to Mako, it's getting hectic." Asami said as she sat down on the sand.

Bolin sat next to her on the sand.

"Everything's going to be ok Bolin... Korra's going to get Mako out of there." Asami said.

"Yeah.. Korra's smart... She'll get him out of there." Bolin said.

Bolin laid back on the sand. Asami followed putting her head on Bolin's chest. Bolin saw this and was surprised. He wanted to say something, but he didn't want to ruin the moment. They laid there for the whole day. They talked about each other and how their lives have been before they met Korra. Before Amon, and before Mako went to jail. Sunset began and Asami got up from her laying position and sat down. Bolin followed her.

"This sunset looks beautiful." Asami said.

"Yeah. I haven't seen a sunset this beautiful in ages." Bolin said letting out a chuckle.

Asami looked at Bolin. With her beautiful green eyes and her straight black hair. Bolin couldn't resist, he came closer to Asami and gave her a kiss. They made contact with each other's lips. The kiss felt like a relief, all the stress that Bolin was feeling was gone. He enjoyed this moment and Asami was too.

"Bolin!" Said a voice. He recognized it, it was feminine, but it didn't bother him, he still had his eyes shut and his lips with Asami's.

"Bolin...." This time he recognized the voice.

It was manly this time, it was Mako. He pushed himself back and looked to his left and saw Mako and Korra. They saw them kiss. They stood there in silence, Mako looked heart broken. He wasn't with Asami, he was with Korra. Why did it matter anymore?

"Sorry." Mako said as he turned around and made his way back inside with Korra chasing after him.

"Asami..." Bolin said.

"Bolin, did you regret it? Our kiss?" Asami asked.

"No... It's just that Mako looked heart broken.. Do you two still have a thing?" Bolin asked.

"No! No we don't." Asami answered quickly.

"Then why did he look so sad?" Bolin questioned.

Asami sat there in silence. The silence began to grow and Bolin didn't say anything either.

"You wanna go back inside? Let's go you have to know why he's upset..." Asami explained.

Bolin nodded his head and got up. He helped Asami as well and they both went on their way back inside. Bolin had his hand intertwined with Asami's hand. She smiled and had her head on his shoulder. They walked down the hall and saw Korra trying to open the door.

"Mako open this door!" Korra shouting.

"Korra, don't yell... Let me try.." Bolin said letting go of Asami and going to the door.

"Hey bro... Mako can you open the door? Please I need to speak with you!" Bolin begging.

There was silence. The only thing that Bolin managed to hear was the heavy breathing of Mako. With his breathing he sounded furious. Bolin stepped back and walked away.
