I Love Him, But I'm Off Limits (All Time Low fan fic <3)

chapter 6

i am sooooo sorry its taken me so long to update!!! i got a new phone and thats where i keep the story and its been a pain trying to get the story from one phone to another. and i went on vacation and didnt have a computer. anyways! enough excuses from me :) heres chapter 6!!

"Zack you can't tell anyone, I don't care who asks, no one can know. We'd both be dead!" I told him pleading him to keep his mouth shut for once.

"We're serious, you know what would happen if Alex found out." Jack added also pleading with Zack.

"Alright, alright i get it! I won't tell anyone!" He said. We both breathed a sigh of relief. Zack smirked. "So how long have you guys been hiding this little secret?" He asked emphasizing the word 'little'.

"Just today." Jack said.

"Cool, so when are you gonna tell Alex? You do know your gonna have to right?" Zack said making me wince at having to lie to Alex like this.

I looked over at Jack. His face holding the same expression that mine did. He shrugged and said, "We know, just not yet. Neither one of us is really ready to die yet." He said shame filling his voice. I knew it was killing him to lie to his best friend, but what chould we do? Alex flipped just because he thought i liked Jack, what would he do when he found out we were dating? Yeah it wasnt gonna be pretty.

"Makes sense i guess." Zack said bringing me out of my thoughts. All three of us sat in silence for a couple of minutes. Jack had his arm around me the whole time

"We should probably get back, its getting dark." Jack said looking down at me

"Yeah we probably should." I said looking up at him. I wasnt ready to face the music yet or act like nothings going on, but i guess all good things come to an end eventually right?

All three of us got up and started our walk back to the bus, my hand in Jack's untill the bus was insight.

"What are you gonna tell them?" Zack asked.

"Shit! We didnt think about that!" I said looking at Jack for help.

He thought for a second and then said, "You can act right?"

"Yeahh kind of, i mean i was in a theater class, but that doesn't mean im any good."

"She is, i was in the same class," Zack said.

"Alright, well act like your on the verge of tears and well just tell them what happened with Patrick, ok?" Jack said.

"Ok, i can do that." I said. In my mind i added 'i hope' to the end of that phrase. I started getting into character. I thought about what had just happend with Patrick and tried to shove what just happened with Jack out of my head. It's easier said than done. i thought about the break up and how Patrick just tried to get me back, the scars on my arm as a reslut of the break up. I almost started crying. Perfect. Now just to see if Jack and Zack can pull the rest of this off.

We reached the bus within a minute and walked in, all three of us praying this would work.

"Where have you guys been? We thought you guys died!!" Aled shouted, looking worried. Now i really felt bad. Wait till he found out where we really were.

"Sorry man, Skye waited for me after the set and she ran into Patrick and didnt wanna come back here for awhile. I should've texted you, I'm sorry." Jack said. I could see the shame on his face as the words came out of his mouth. He hated this just as much -- or possibly even more than i did.
