RECAP:"Well, I do have a party to got to later on but I'm thinking of ditching it," Seth said."But maybe I would go if a certain someone went with me.." he said and started poking me. What? What is he talking about?  He begged me for a little more, me saying no every time, but he was persistent. Soon I was shouting my protests but he still didn't give up."FINE!" I say.Oh Gosh. I'm going to my first high school party in a few hours. AAH!I picked up my phone and dialed the number."Hello?""Kendra, I need your help, like now."

Chapter 9

I filled Kendra in on the situation and it turns out she was going to that party too. It kind of shocked me that she knew and I didn't but Kendra is a really cool person, she's bound to make new and cooler friends.

She arrived at my place about ten minutes later with her outfit and about a ton of makeup, hair supplies, jewelry and accessories.

"What is all this for?" I asked. "What are you supposed to wear to these types of parties anyways?" I asked.

"Anything," she said. "You could show up in jeans or a prom dress, it doesn't matter." Wow. That's really cool.

I nodded and she stalked over to my closet. She fingered through the clothing, trying to pick out an outfit for me to wear.

For about an hour, Kendra pulled out outfit after outfit but each time, one of us would have something bad to say about it.

"Ok, we are never gonna find some-" I started. While I had been ranting, Kendra had pulled out a forgotten dress. It had been in my closet for months now, my aunt had bought it for me a while back but I had refused to wear it. My aunt is a fashion designer and anytime she would visit, she always brought me clothes to wear.

It was a strapless black summer dress with small red and white flowers covering it. It stopped just above the knee and it had a bright red belt under the breast. It was beautiful.

I wasn't just noticing how pretty it was now though, I had loved it when my aunt brought it but back then, I didn't go to parties and I definitely wouldn't wear it to school.

"Now this is a dress," Kendra said in awe, admiring it.

"Yeah, I wanna wear it," I said.

"Okay, let's do this!" She said and pumped her fist into the air.

Two hours, 34 minutes and 22 seconds Later

"Done!" Kendra exclaimed once she was finished with my hair. She handed me the mirror and I have to say, I looked gorgeous! Not to boast or anything.
