With my fists still shaking with rage, I plucked the bottle of pills off the shelf and threw it into my basket. I knew I would be questioned for having Viagra in my basket but it wasn't my problem. I threw in some Midol because I needed it and called it a day, walking up to the Pharmacy's cashier.
"Uh, Grace?" The cashier asked as I put the items on the conveyer belt. I glanced up and noticed that it was one of the guys from my school that hung around with the footballers. How he happened to know my name was weird- until I remember I made quite name for myself in the past few days. I raised an eyebrow at him, although he couldn't see it through my bangs, and glanced at his name tag. It read Harris.
Pretending to be oh-so-delighted to see him there, I let a flirtatious smile light up my face considering he was one of the cute guys at our school.
"Hey Harris," I smiled as he rung up my two items, eyes on me the whole time. "I didn't know you worked here." I continued, leaning over slightly and placing my elbows on the counter. Brown hair, blue eyes, typical prep. His arm muscles were also the size of tree trunks.
He must be on the football team.
"Yeah, not a lot of people know that I work here." He shrugged with his own flirty smile, his eyes landing on my chest before gliding back up to me face. I resisted the urge to scoff at his attentiveness to my face (note the sarcasm). Instead, I pushed my elbows towards my body, making my boobs pop out a little more. I was only trying to keep him distracted so he wouldn't look at my purchases.
"Well, I think it's a manly job." I winked. His eyes fled down to my chest again. Perv.
"Really?" He grinned and I nodded.
"Yeah, like how doctors are so manly, I mean, it's kind of like the same thing." I tried sounding dumber than I had ever sounded before in my life.
"Well, thanks," He said with the grin even more prominent. He fell for it. I couldn't believe he thought that I thought working at a Pharmacy's cashier was like being a doctor. "You know, guys are always saying bad things about you but you're pretty cool." What!?
