Looking over my shoulder every two seconds was not an exaggeration. Parker had extreme potential to damage to me. Especially since I had slapped him like that.
"Grace?" Someone's hand wiped through my vision. I jumped as I looked over and saw Parker standing there with a Sharpie in his hand. I stepped away from him, running into a niner from behind.
"Stay away," I tried in my most threatening voice. "You deserved what I did. I've never done anything to you."
He grinned evilly before grabbing my arm and lifting up my sleeve, quickly scribbling something down on my skin. I tried to pull away, but man oh man was he strong. Once he was down he waggled his eyebrows and ran off. I didn't want to know what he wrote, but curiosity got the best of me. I looked down at my arm:
Dinner @ 7 on Friday. got ur phone number & address from briana, dress nice.
PARKER IS DA BOMB!
Are you kidding me? He had to write that on my arm? Why couldn't he have just told me when he was standing right in front of me? And wow, mature much?
I went to the washroom, quickly going over to the sink to wash it off. A girl beside me took the liberty of reading it.
"You have a date with Parker Stevens!?" She said looking shocked. I scrubbed at my arm, really wanting to get it off, and ignored her comment. Why was she so shocked?
Crap. Was it a date!?
Oh no.
I can't go out with him! He's Teagan's cousin! I want Teagan, not him. The world is so freaking unfair. Not to mention that the chicken scratch on my arm wasn't coming off.
"Shit." I said under my breath.
"At least Teagan's still single." The girl said, perking up. I glared murderously at her.
"Parker and I are not going out. Parker and I will never go out, got it?" I said through clenched teeth. She looked at me like you would a psychopath.
"Yeah, um, doesn't look that way," Before I knew it, she had her phone out and she snapped a picture of the writing on my arm. "See you around! It's Gale right?" She said, perkiness flowing out of every pore in her body. She must be related to Carrie.
"No it's Grace." I said. Did I just give her my name!?
"Right. See ya, Grace!" She smiled maliciously at me before heading out of the washroom swinging her hips and flicking her black hair over her shoulder.
By the time I had finally gotten the damn writing off of my arm and walked out of the washroom, the news had spread. I ducked my head, hoping that not many people would know- but as soon as I turned down a hallway, all eyes were on me. Girls were giving me dirty looks, guys checking me out to see if I was hot considering Parker was already popular and he’d only been here a couple of weeks.
